  1. Is it sold out?

Lady at front desk said tonight is suppose to be real big . Just checked and there is 300 tickets left at moment

 Damn it. I was going to enter my name into the MYGNR ticket give away and told my husband. Know what he said? Little prick, he said if I won the ticket and went to the show he'd divorce me.

He thinks it's nuts to fly from Georgia to Las Vegas for a show. He refused to go with me too so.....

Asshole is just worried I'll run into Axl and never return.

those who are there tonight lucky bastards!

  2. Beautiful girly face. Don't know if that's a compliment or an insult.

Some girls go for the pretty boys. And some girls go for pretty boys who beat the shit out of women.

It's not always intentional that a woman ends up with someone like that. I love pretty men myself and married one, he proposed 6 months after we

met. At least 1 red flag there. There are always signs to look out for but being distracted by a pretty guy, with long hair, tattoos and a great sense of humor can blind you.

Especially if this guy looks like Oded Fehr from "The Mummy" with Brendan Fraser, which my husband strongly resembles, as he's 50 white 50 pakistani 1/8 native american and

looks quite exotic which I've always favored. I never went for the blond hair, blue eyed angelic looking guy.

Growing up over seas I'm sure had a ton to do with that. My first crush as a kid was on a Filipino since I lived in the Philippines as a small child until the age of 9. Even my religious views

from being exposed at such a young age are different than most of my peers. I saw a lot of Buddhist temples when I lived in Japan for a short while, as well as South Korea.

I do wonder what type of men I would have favored if I had not been exposed to the other side of the world at such a young age. It's a neat sociological experiment I wish I could go back in time and re-do just to see

    what the results would be.

It seems that early experiences shape the psyche even in regards to a mate and subconsciously they go for what's familiar even if they don't realize it. If they grew up in an abusive household, she will be drawn

to a man that does the same-although not intentionally, I guess the same way I go for for exotic looking men like Oded Fehr and I love, love how Jeff Goldblum looks he's another favorite from living over seas ( only logical reason I can come up with ).

If a woman seems to go for the wife beaters maybe she cannot help it, literally from this example. If there are women who actually GO for these men and seek them out then that's pretty fucked up.

Know one or did? I'd like to hear about that. I do wonder what kind of woman that'd be.

:) sorry for the book, guys........

  3. Well, we will see how it goes with my chopper. It'll be a hardtail and I'm a new rider so until I actually get the bike and learn to ride it that trip along the coast and back home

may not happen as soon as I keep thinking it will. :P

I've never ridden a motorcycle except on the back.....

Totally, I do hope to run into Gaga herself, you never know. She always seems to be walking around NYC streets

without a care to people knowing it's her.

I've heard the food in NYC is awesome. They've got street vendors among other stuff we don't have here where I'm from so

the thought of visiting NYC is pretty darn exciting to me. Times Square is of course mythical to me.

    Thanks for the tips!

  4. Only reason I will see is it is because the film was shot 2 miles from my home.

Traffic was a nightmare during filming so, I'd like to see just what kind of acting/quality/scene sets clogged up my

    streets.

Anchorman 2 was shot in Georgia as well, near Newnan I think.

Who knows, maybe one day I'll pop up at a theatre near you. ( pipe dream sheri, just a pipe dream )

Dumb and Dumber is my favourite straight out comedy of all time. If this sequel is only one-tenth as funny as the original I'm sure it will be worth the ticket price.

I would haves thought we would have had a trailer for this by now,

I know, I've been waiting for a trailer.

  5. um, did you watch it?

 I only watched that part at 4:35 to see Manson speak gibberish for a second or two. Also, because I am ha, actually Deaf I almost got offended by it. :max:

It's all good, no I'm not offended just feeling stupid because I did not watch the rest of the video but will now. Some people just post odd parts of interviews with a celeb saying this, or that, or making

a funny face around here so I figured that's what the 4:35 mark was and figured no need to watch further.

:wow: obviously wrong. Watching now, wish he'd stop mumbling.

Ok, done watching. Yeah, it's gonna hit him hard. This video was in 2013 so I assume she was already in bad shape, with what Manson said was a mental illness.

Didn't know him or who he was. I don't know much about the guy, was his mother institutionalized? From a young age? Is that what he means by I regret my mother never knowing

who I am? ( if I understood correctly, he doesn't make lip reading very easy ).

    Very, very sad.

  6. Sarah Brightman-Deliver Me

    Plum-Damaged

    Can you astral project?

No. I have not committed any crimes of any nature.

If you could commit a crime and never get caught, excluding rape, which one?

  7. I didnt know you could die of dementia.

I was not aware of that as well. I always assumed, it was due to the complications of having dementia, not the actual illness that caused death.

Similar to how my mother died from cancer. She had Lung cancer and unfortunately due to laser treatment in her 20's for hodgkins when laser treatment

for cancer was not precise, some radiation splashed around her lungs causing the lung cancer some 30 years later. Her lungs and blood vessels were

already not in that great of shape due to her earlier laser treatments so what happened? A blood vessel burst in her lung and she died drowning in her own blood.

the night it happened I was the one to call 911 and later that night in the hospital they told us she was dying. Next day I lost my mother.

Cancer killed her? no. Being treated for cancer even when she was in her 20s? Yes. Thing is dementia gradually weakens a person. If you don't use your legs much or walk around

much anymore, what happens? Blood clots. If you are incontinent because of dementia and have reversed back to the age of an infant and your nurse just happens to have a bad day and doesn't

clean you up well and you get a UTI? Death by kidney failure.

If Dementia causes actual neurodegeneration similar to Parkinsons disease or a lesser known disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, then yes it'd be a direct factor to a persons death

including any complications too. I never really looked much into it as this was considered an old persons disease but Mansons mother was only 53. That is very, very young to have dementia, or what we call in the south

"old timers". Since she was so young I'm now curious to learn more about it.

He's lucky he got more time than I did, but losing a mother is still one of the most traumatic events in a persons life ( well, in mine it was ). I hope since Manson is older that he has matured enough to

handle it without destroying himself. I didn't and ended up pretty much a starved ( became anorexic ), on antidepressants, with a plan to release an album detailing my life up until my mothers death only to

then commit suicide with the last song on the album called " a goodbye and ode to the past ", becoming the first posthumous album to become the worlds BIGGEST selling album of all time.

That never happened thankfully. I came to my senses at the age of 26 and it was like a light bulb went off. Can't explain it. and, after that I was ok. Sure I still cry and write a new song dedicated to my mother

on the day of her death but I don't wallow in it like I used to.

As for Manson? I hope he doesn't crack. Some people no matter how old they are when a parent passes they just lose it. He seemed pretty tore up about it reading his FB post. I guess we'll see

    in the coming weeks months.

    4:35

    WTF? :blink::lol:

  8. Did you actually draw that? Like take the time to do that?

what do you do all day?

    Job? wife? life?

    :wow:

that drawing is, ok I'll admit it. Hilarious.

It took me all of 3 minutes in ms paint, i should do an updated one with Tommy just because hes back now.....It was my day off regardless. actually...why do i feel i should do a ms paint gnr' comic strip now??

Do it! A comic strip would be great actually.

  9. Just saw that Marilyn Manson posted about his mothers death on his FB and looked for news articles on it.

For those that don't know that are fans of Manson, I couldn't think of a better place to put this.

MARILYN MANSON's Mother Dies After Battle With Dementia

    May 18, 2014 5 Comments

MARILYN MANSON's Mother Dies After Battle With Dementia
Barbara J. Warner, the 68-year-old mother of shock rocker Marilyn Manson (a.k.a. Brian Warner), died on May 13 after a long battle with dementia.

The singer wrote on his Facebook page earlier today: "Mother, to the first and greatest believer in me … I hope I see you again someday. But not now, because I have more things I promised I would do. I'll make you proud and satisfied that you know that you made the son you wanted. I love you."

An obituary posted by CantonRep.com reads as follows: "Barbara J. Warner, age 68, passed peacefully on Tuesday after a long battle with dementia. She was a wife, lover, mother and friend who will be missed forever. Survived by her husband, Hugh A. Warner; and a son, Brian H. Warner. Services were private. The Lamiell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences may be made to www.lamiellfuneralhome.com."

In a 2012 interview with Revolver magazine, Manson said: "I don't have the same ambition and drive, the determination, the fearlessness, the anger and relentlessness that I had when I started this. I have some of it, different elements of it, different percentages of it, and I'm not saying the stuff I did before I came to this realization was irrelevant. I had to do it to get to it. But I guess part of it was coming to terms with family things, like my mother being ill and diagnosed with dementia, being faced with that concept. Coming to terms with mortality — not of my own, because I've always been fearless of that, and I'm never afraid to die for what I believe in. But while I'll always make jokes and deny t in a ['American Psycho' protagonist] Patrick Bateman sort of sense, I'm not completely devoid of human emotions. I do have feelings, and I have a lot more feelings than people probably imagine, and that's what makes me so guarded. So it was a lot of me coming to terms with that. I had to prove to the people that already know and care about me that I'm worth caring about, and that I'm a motherfucker to be reckoned with. And I wanted to show the rest of the world exactly what I showed them. Whatever it was that got people's attention, what made them want to listen to my first album, I just wanted to have that gleam in my eye, that fire in me."

  10. Definitely

I saw the picture of Gia, she's very pretty, dark hair, petite. I also have 70% hearing loss, always have, wear hearing aids, can't see them like a really old person's though. Never effected my speech because I'm not deaf. I don't understand 'out of tune' or 'off key' but I know what I like and don't. Silly question to ask why one would be on a board about music. Music and sounds probably are closer to the soul of the hearing impaired than those that hear perfectly. Works out for me because I can tell my husband I never heard him if he tells me something I don't want to hear! hah! :D

If you could live forever, would you want to?

Just had to chime in and say hi! Glad to see I'm not the only person around here that wear hearing aids. I feel music quite deeply and like you don't notice off key or out of tune notes, so I tend to enjoy it more :)

If I could live forever would I want to? Only if I could bring someone dear along with me.

Question- If you could live forever and had only one chance to bring someone with you into this life of immortality, who would you choose and why?

  11. Had to watch this twice to confirm I was seeing Axl running around the stage.

Looks more like he's rushing to get back into position after a fat break that took too long.

I was thinking more of the Brooklyn Bowl diarrhea fest. I can totally picture that guy running like that to the bathroom.

But, since Axl used to be a track runner he's pretty darn fast for someone his age. I wouldn't want to race him as I'd most likely trip over

the fact "holy shit, that's Axl" and really face plant.

Dude can run from what I saw, but still it was a wtf moment.

  12. why you guys hate DJ so much??

I don't. I had no idea who he was until I got back into GNR-but more or less became a blasted hardcore out of nowhere. Took me by surprise.

I don't even know or didn't know who the rest of the band was, let alone even Dizzy but am very familiar with the old lineup with the org. members.

Yes, that means stinston, bumblefoot-had NO idea who they were. Or the replacements for that matter.

So, his guitar was out of tune during GG I won't hold that against him but his guitar tech?

different matter! Joking of course. I'm sure that guitar tech was axed, had to have been after that.

personally I don't really get all up in arms if someone plays a note wrong. I mean, I hardly even notice anything

at all until I read people picking apart the songs on here :P.

why you guys hate DJ so much??

    WxeSVI.gif

    hahhahahahahahahaah hilarious

Gotta give ya' this one. Yes, even I kinda scoffed when I saw that. I honestly do feel bad for DJ sometimes, especially when looking at the GIF you posted.

it IS funny and I'll admit that but....

Axl likes the guy and until that changes some of you will just have to deal with it. :)

  13. As for Ashba setting up tents selling his stuff at GNR shows? I don't have a problem with it.

I'd do the same if I were in the band and had a loyal following before joining GNR.

Of course, I'd sell Sheri's special push up bras " The original Guns N' Roses Push Up Bra ".

Let the girls bounce comfortably on stage or wherever you are, just like Sheri.

all joking aside, seriously I don't have an issue with it. :)

  14. It's appropriate. Clearly Axl thinks so, too.

Personally, I'd pay no more than $5 to see this band, so I'm not exactly their target audience.

I also don't eat at Olive Garden or any chain restaurant, as I live in NYC. So, my opinion doesn't matter. My tastes aren't in line with others tastes.

Have you been to Joanne Trattoria? It's an Italian restaurant owned by Lady Gaga's parents and both her parents are there often, even Gaga stops in for a bite to eat. Just curious if you've ever been

since you do live in NY and obviously seem to prefer fine dining over chain restaurants. If you have been what were your impressions? Good? Bad? I only ask because I plan to ride my Honda CB 750 chopper to NY

when it gets fully built/completed and have plans to stop there among other places.

Here's the website in case you've never heard of it. Give it a try if not and get back to me!

Also for those that don't know Joanne is Gaga's Aunt, she died from Lupus when she was only 19 and the family opened it in her memory, and Gaga herself has

tested borderline positive for Lupus. Typically, I wouldn't give a shit but having the same thing myself, I do. I support Gaga as much as people hate her, because she herself

may have it. Her makeup artist Tara has Lupus and they are best buds. So, there are crumbs to follow if you really look.

not many outside of her hardcore fan base know any of that, so....had to blab.

  15. Did Axl dye his mustache? What's going on there?

I read a post that said Axl put on a fake mustache for part of PC. Also at the very end of the show after the group bow he said something to the effect of " get home safe and avoid the po-po"

I read the same thing but don't believe he dyed his mustache "black". Or even wore a fake mustache. Have not seen a video or picture, except one picture where it clearly looked photo shopped to me.

Is there any truth at all to this?

I took the pic of Axl and Ashba that I posted a few pages back and I can assure you I didn't alter it but maybe it's just some kind of lighting or a weird effect from my camera.

I saw the picture and thought it was photo shopped. Did it look the same in person as it did in the picture?

I'm seriously curious now if he did actually wear a fake black mustache and what the reason behind it was.

Since he's going for No Trickery for the vegas deal, only thing I could figure was doesn't the lead singer in RHCP have a black mustache himself?

I over think obviously but hey, ya' never know.

    http://www.gunsnfnroses.com/index.php?/topic/2742-an-alleged-look-inside-axl-roses-laptop-101-documents-feb-14-2011/

Maybe Axl really wants to dissolve GnR. One more residency and then call it quits.

It would explain a lot and I would totally understand it :P

Everyone should move on. Axl could start a solo career and write a book, Richard Fortus and Dizzy Reed continue with The Dead Daisies (you should give them a listen!), Bumblefoot continues as a producer and releases a new solo album, DJ Ashba well.. nevermind, Tommy has The Replacements, Duff and Slash might revive Velvet Revolver and also have their solo projects, etc.

I'd rather see all of them doing new stuff on their own. Especially since I've seen Fortus play with The Dead Daisies:

I'm a new The Dead Daisies fan :P

I really hope he doesn't because I've not seen him live yet.
