  1. The part that starts at 02:30 and lasts until 02:50 is just amazing. It can hardly get any better than that. Its the highlight of a great song for me.

Whats your favourite part of this song or do you have another example of a few seconds from a song that you particularly like?

  2. In Watch You Bleed, a former Geffen employee recounts to Davis, "Axl fucked two or three girls at least two or three times at Rumbo Sound, without being satisfied with the results." One of these girls, the one who made the cut, was Adriana. Davis writes of the recording session: "As the tape was rolling, Axl barked at her: 'C'mon, Adriana! Stop faking -- make it real!'"

Haha! Good strategy! :D Im not satisfied, next one!

  3. So guys what is your favourite GNR acoustic show?

As far as I know there were only two acoustic shows during the old GNR-era. CBCG in 87 and parts of the 93 concert in Argentina. NewGNR seems to like the small private acoustic shows a lot. For some reason most of them were held in NY. Out of 8 gigs five of them were in NY.

Personally I like the CBCG from the oldGNR era and the L'Arc, Paris one from the NewGNR

  6. Once a year he would invite friends and their families over for a special Halloween costume party. Decorating the swimming pool with pumpkin-lanterns and dangling fake spiders' webs from the overhanging palms, he would also have special mazes erected. Guests at these parties would later describe him as being almost as excited as all the children present, as he dashed around enjoying himself. Dave Quakenbush, vocalist with LA punk band The Vandals and a guest at the 1999 Halloween party, recalls Axl “wearing a dinosaur outfit. When some kids approached him and asked if he was Barney the Dinosaur, he said 'Nah! Barney's a fag!' Then he stopped himself and said, 'Oh, uh, I mean Barney's a pussy'.”
As the years passed and his friends' children got older, however, the Halloween parties got smaller, symbolising, as one guest later put it, Axl's “ever-shrinking universe.” All employees were still required to signing confidentiality agreements containing stiff financial and legal penalties if breached. It also became customary for all employees to submit a photograph of themselves which Axl would then offer to Yoda for “psychic inspection” to reveal their true motives; strengths and weaknesses; what kind of energy they emitted. Even photographs of an employee's children were requested on occasion.
  7. Axl has covered a hell of a lot of songs live and in studio. As many or more than he's written himself.

I personally enjoy the piano ballads best, so I'll go with "It's Alright" or "Everything."

Thanks for that, didnt know they covered Everything. First time I hear it now and its really good
