Like most of you I want to hear Pretty tied up and Bad obsession, but also Think about You and Anything goes just for the sake of having whole appetite seen live! One other big desire is Locomotive

Plus I think Dizzy deserves to be a bit more than 'just' one of the back line, if only for his commitment and longevity. Since the return of Slash and Duff he's (figuratively) disappeared behind Fortus – even Melissa and Frank in some cases.
Giving him a solo spot would be pretty neat
Yeeeh give him another upfront piano solo spot, I'd love that

Is it cool or does it get tiring/boring?
I mean of course, the place/venue, people/crowd adds to the experience. But I meant the band and the show itself, with almost same setlist. Not judging or mocking, in fact, I am contemplating on watching 2-3 shows in Europe this July, but I am afraid I might find it boring the 2nd time around in such a short time. Or you guys still get lots of fun?
THANKS!Well I went to their show in Groningen and Munich last year and I must say that to me it didn't feel boring at all, each show was fun in it's own way. Like in Groningen they were more rocking and focussed on the harder songs and brought those with more edge, plus they played street of dreams but no Hardskool. In Munich songs like civil war Estranged and KOHD were more convincing and Slash's tone touched me more and made me cry. Also they did Hardskool there and for me it was the first time I heard it

Yeah, the organizer says it might be a bit much, coming back too early, fourth time since 2017, and all have been big venues. Cheapest tickets are 100 EUR, I think, and then you're behind the golden circle. For 15 EUR more I can go to a festival and have a chance to stand in the front. It's a no brainer really.
The organizer also says that people have to make choices because lots of acts are touring. Only diehards will go see the show four times in 6 years. For casuals, it's basically the same show.
One of those die hards would be me! But I agree with what you said, they also announced the tour very late compared to other things going for the summer! I don't mind the change tho, I don't need to book a hotel now since it's closer to home so I can get back by train

I am not an oracle from ancient Greece but I foresee another year of wishful posting with a slight chance above 50% that we will hear 2 new songs before summer. The chances of a new album are below 20% no deadline added...

Happy Birthday Axl! 61 years of age and still running jumping turning whistling and singing like you always did! Love your music and love you on stage, here's to another good year for you!

I think he did a great thing here, you can see the emotions on his face. He's having trouble to hold his tears. But it was a good performance, kinda makes me want Axl to go Elton John in his final years as a musician after GN'R says goodbye..

I would warn Axl about not taking control of the name and to not let the leeches around him drive him and his band members apart.

Only gonna post about the members I have an opinion about
Dizzy- his live playing on Estranged and SOD+ his excitement
Matt- Kickass drummer period.
Gilby- Wild Horses+his playing on the Spaghetti album
Thomas Eugene Stinson- simply a punkrock cool bass player and had a great sound with the band, in my eyes he was the only suitable replacement to Duff
Buckethead- TWAT solo, one of my faves ever and the man was just insane on the guitar
Richard- lots of energy onstage + can play basically anything you ask him to and goes well with slash
Robin Finck kinda created the CD sound with his playing for me and I like that, on classic GN'R songs I found him less.
Bumblefoot- great guitar player loved hear his playing live+ great guy and also a fighter went on your through a lot of pain after an accident.
DJ Ashna- lovely onstage chemistry with Axl and just funny to watch onstage+ the drumstick thing during Madagascar was interesting
Frank- love him or hate him he's groovy and knows how to bring the vibe from AFD songs and DTJ intro jam is badass!!
Brain- was a welcome drummer to fill Matt's seat

Almost every hard rock band is touring next year and some of them like Skid Row have new albums out. Indeed we will have a money issue with all those great bands touring … it s gonna be cherry-picking at this point …
Already got Offspring, Rammstein, Skid Row , GNR planned.. more than once.
good for us that after 2 years of no touring we re back at it 🤘🏻
Nice! I'm going for Rammstein as well and probably Crue in Germany! GN'R 100% pick as many as you can 💪

They should announce soon. RHCP just did. At this point, a lot of people will not have enough money for GN’R cuz they already spent on Peppers/Metallica/etc.
Add Rammstein and Motley Crue+Def Leppard to that, also Steel Panther announced a new album + world tour and Kiss doing Europe again

I have been over the moon with the Ritz 91 and Vegas 92 release on Spotify for weeks now and I find myself listening to one track from either a day minimum! Move to the city and rocket queen are especially refreshing as they are rare in high quality from that era.

I prefer bad apples I think, and that's because of slash' solo! I find it a piece of musical genius, lyrical wise it's not as strong as bad obsession, and bad obsession has a certain vibe, but bad apples kinda gets me listening more deeply. and has more feel to it only thanks to slash' playing and I like the random pick of words in it, tough choice tho.

I agree with most songs mentioned here but would like to add Civil War to the list, he usually does the job on that one too! And on KOHD ge also found an approach that works for him most of the time

Hmmm surprise gig maybe? Fundraiser?

Matt, gilby, Billy Gibbons and Sebastian being there more likely points towards a Kings of Chaos show in my opinion

What an experience, I traveled all the way from the Netherlands to Munich by train to see them for the 2nd time this tour! It was nice to be doing such thing for the first time and met cool other people who were going as well. The stadium was really cool and I love the fact Estranged was shot there. Also the sound this time was amazing really amazing! The show they played was shorter than the one in Groningen but awesome nevertheless. I finally got to hear Hardskool live as they didn't play it in Groningen, Slash's playing during DTJ made me cry and that's what it's about :). It was more like a greatest hits show and I could tell that most of the people there loved it that way! Me I kinda wished for more CD UYI and lies tracks but it was a cool rock n roll show anyway! Guns N' Roses is always the most fun thing to experience and they delivered like they always do, I left the gig very happy. Absurd was not very well received by the way lol and I was singing it out loud haha casuals looking at me like: huh?? He knows this? Such gross lyrics 😂

Alright... I can only say what a show!!! The setlist was really nice! I didn't expect Sorry in the encore for example! Axl was quite alright overall with some voice cracks here and there and moments where he was looking for the right approach. But people around me thought he was good so I guess nobody noticed! I loved Reckless life, such a special moment to witness that live for the first time! They didn't play hardskool unfortunately.... Civil War was perfect, knocking on heaven's door was good vocally. And the rest of the band really played good overall! Coma was very well received and people were happy they were playing it, coma was tight as fuck btw!!! 3 hours of still the best rock N' roll show out there I enjoyed it very much

Number of songs GNR played in 2021 (25 shows) - 33
Number of songs GNR played in 2022 (6 shows) - 34
They have already played more songs than for the whole of last year. There are 3 more songs that haven't been played this year that were played in 2021 (Sorry, Catcher In The Rye, Dead Horse).
And locomotive, damn I really hope they play locomotive tonight!! Yesterday's Green Day gig at the same venue was a lot of fun but of course today is the main event of the year!! Locomotive will make me a happy man, and perhaps Angus coming along for Back in black

3:45 hours stage time maybe the longest show of the tour like they did in 2017?? I hope so!! I'm looking forward to it!

So far only one, but I might go for the Graspop one too as I have 2 days off around the GN'R day
