I was talking about official releases, or at least I'm guessing that's what I was referring to.

I wouldn't know since I wouldn't think to dig up a 4 year old post from someone to attempt a "gotcha" moment, but that's just me I guess.

It wasn't an attempt to "gotcha" you or anywhere close man, the post came to first page from another comment and I just found it hilarious. Calm down

I downloaded it and listened to 1 song because I couldn't wait, April Fool. And well fuck me, the mix from the livestream DOES sound better than the album version. It sounds more streamlined to me and I like Myles vocals/tone a whole lot better.

The album version was kind of a letdown after the clips from the live performance, I can't believe it, funny. Can't wait for the livestream, but I already know that will be the definite version of the song for me, and will be the one I'll always listen to.

Will be interesting to see how much of the rest of the album this will apply to for me, it is kind of great we essentially get 2 different versions of the album at the same time and can choose.

Is the Howard Stern livestream you're talking about?

  3. So Slash was the first to contact GNR's management and not the other way. According to Axl's interview with Globo TV, they were the ones to contact first so I don't really understand this. My best guess is that he completely forgot about the 2010's contact or he didn't even know about it. Maybe that's the reason Forever Together was buried?

Anyway, they're sitting on top of hours and hours of UYI's footage with the idea of releasing it

  4. Pro-shots from 2010. They are literally sitting on top of so many things they could gift it to Nightrain members if they want some profit of, for example, the Forever Together documentary, the Adelaide and Bucharest shows, the entire 2009 Asia leg and I could go on and on

Same in Paris 2017. Axl has stopped quite a few shows over the years to try to prevent people getting hurt. You always see him scanning the audience too to make sure people aren't getting into trouble.

It happened in Argentina 2016 also during Nightrain (min 2:26). I don't see it as a "bad thing" but all the oppostie, he's taking care of his audience!
