existential dread. aeroplanes. how comfy the furniture in their houses must be. exercising. Seattle University's Albers School of Business and Economics.

i mean, a Man on The Silver Mountain doesn't exactly  strike as a subject people would come up with when writing at first, but it's done with with passion that I think it's cool.

If GnR can write about a subject, no matter goofy or cheesy the subject, i think if they put enough passion in it, it should be enough to make the music fun!

 

for me a good example is the lyrics in the liam galagher albums, he talk about his brother, being old, his daughter and his family, overcome sadnes and depression with psotive attitude, thats something gnr could do like estranged or madagascar even scrapped had a good lyrics CD had some good lyrics in general and hardschool is a good example of what they could do

I was a huge fan from 1991 to 2012, I remember listening to the RIR01 show online on a crappy broadcast because internet was bad back then in France, saw them at Pukkelpop, BE 2002 (first time ever - never was into Bucket though), many times on the 2006 tour (best tour ever according to me since 1991) and on the 2012 tour, CD was a huge event for me, I loved many songs on there and listened to it a lot, and then I kinda lost interest after 2012.

To me the reunion happened "too late" and didnt feel quite like what we see on the Ritz video. I attended a couple of shows on the reunion tour but 2006 was so much better to me (I attended shows with Izzy as a guest). Then after the 154th leg on the NITL I kinda gave up on following the shows. Listened to Hard Skool and Absurd but didnt really get into it. The re-release of UYI and especially the full Ritz show was the biggest event for me as a fan since the release of CD!

i think axl till 2012 was a fucking beast, this happend on 2016 too and maybe 17 but after that is downhill in terms of epicnes

In my eyes, by saying ‘fuck this’ and quitting, izzy ended up being the only one with the minerals to stand up to Axl. Slash and Duff simped and snivelled and are towing the line to this day.

we score 3 times wihout counting the one the player take it out INSIDE the football goal, idk how to say ii in english lol, and so even if you dosen t count 2 goals we had 2 more that they steal from us, we had like 5 goals and we loose 1-2 in a mundial its a fucking joke
