I'm fully expecting the official Hard Skool release to not be as good as the demo and then I just continue to listen to the demo.

It's sad enough that this was the single mention of the 30th anniversary, but it's even worse with how atrocious the actual merchandise is. It's so unimaginative and expensive.

I'm sorry, but I find it so comical that some fans read this statement and immediately went back to the mindset of, "Oh, clearly Hard Skool was definitely supposed to be played that night, but wasn't because of this." Just stop, people. 😂

I hope so. I've heard stuff from pretty much every show of the tour so far and feel like his voice has pretty much been the same ever since show three or four. Not terrible but not great either.

I swear every show people say, "Best show of the tour so far" or "Axl's best performance of the tour so far."

Hey, guys! The other day I bought an original for $99 at my local record store and am stoked to have it even if I may have overpaid. It's labeled under GHS 24198. The front cover includes the "wife beating" and "dark ages" text, but the inner sleeve has a censored version of the naked chick. I'm kind of confused by that. I thought all the original copies had it uncensored. I was thinking maybe somebody over the years slipped a censored sleeve in there which would explain it, but I'm not really sure. Can someone explain this to me?

I went to school with Robert John's second cousin if that counts.

I remember my first one was in 2004 when I was in second grade. It was the classic circular logo that everyone knows. I felt like such an absolute badass walking around elementary school with a shirt that had guns on it. 😂

I know this is super random, but can anyone help me find a particular video of him? It was definitely during a 2002 performance. All I remember was that it was during a song where he was in the background doing the most ridiculous walk ever and maybe even fell down or slid on his knees or some shit? It was hilarious and I remember people laughing their asses off in the comments section. I want to make a gif out of it. Thank you to anybody that can help! 😂

Not trying to upset anyone, just asking a genuine question. What's up with the moderator control? I was keeping up on this thread all night and was surprised to see the constant mention of deleting repetitive comments, staying on topic and closing of the thread when everyone was livid. It just seems like it's never been controlled like that before.

Endless touring and no new music is bad, but honestly the thing that has affected me the most is the lack of care for the whole copyright nonsense. I know to some it might not seem like anything, but that entire situation really solidified that Team Brazil is extremely incompetent and doesn't care about the fans. I can't get over that the majority of the GNR community on YouTube (plus other websites) is completely gone and ruined because of two "fans" that have nothing better to do. I can't explain to you how disgusted I am that management hasn't done anything about this and potentially had something to do with it.

Just to be clear, are we not allowed to post ANY YouTube links anymore or just links to content that we don't personally own?

I think he also just didn't want people profiting off of them in general. Like people taking and selling pictures for example.

I honestly think some of their content is pretty decent, but yeah. I can't stand the clickbait titles, terrible editing and Sid saying "actually" after every word. They even did an article the other day how GNR played Madagascar at one of the recent shows and how it was "the first time they played it all year" which is obviously just totally inaccurate and lazy ass journalism. Not that them playing Madagascar should even deserve an article anyway.
