guys i went to this show as well...best show since 93 bar none, axl took it to a whole other level - every fucking song was amazing, my michelle incredible, don't cry, NR  those were the highlights for me

i've waited since i was a kid for this and now I've gotten pretty much what I always wanted and never thought I'd get

I'm on the verge of feeling almost depressed it was so good, I don't know if that makes sense? The big high of being a part of that show and now back to reality.... I've gotten what I've always wanted.

The last 2 nights have been amazing, I am hoping for the same experience for the full  tour. I have really enjoyed watching them kill it the last few shows. I have never in my life looked forward to watching a periscope video and talking on a forum about how awesome a song was in my life, until now. These last couple of weeks have been really cool.

I hope they continue to get better and more comfortable together. With the exception of some of the Coachella set they have gotten better every show. Axl's voice is sounding pretty good now. I just hope he can keep it going for the tour.

  2. Same thing with the Stones in Nashville last summer it took a while to sell because of the high prices and it being outside. This is not a prime GNR. Some people I work with told me I was fucking crazy paying those pit prices, but they saw them in 88 and 89 for $30 a ticket with the AFD line up and opening for Aerosmith so I understand.

Do people want to see them? Sure they do, but most younger kids these days like different music and the older people who have already seen them think the ticket prices are ridiculous. Then there are people like me in my 30s who remember them and have always wanted to see them but never had the chance and will pay what ever. This is not a tour I would think would do well at a stadium, but there is still plenty of time. I am just excited to see them.

  3. It is because of pricing difference. In Nashville they are trying to sell one of the crazy priced vip bundles for Slash's side, although on stubhub you can purchase the single ticket  for pit1 with out all the extra crap for around $300. Hell, I paid $283 each for my pit tickets for pit2 from Ticketmaster

I like used to like both bands a lot. Guns first in elementary and middle school, then Nirvana during my whiney angsty teen high school years. Both bands got me they rough times. Do I still like nirvana? Yes, but I dont identify with them as much anymore, whereas with GNR I still do (tho that may be just cause the reunion has rekindled my overall interest in them). To be fair tho, I do still love nirvana's unplugged record, and vig's production on Nevermind.

when it comes to the feud, i see that both parties as to blame. Kurt seems to have been an insecure little twit who started the whole thing, but Axl being the overly sensitive nutso he is fired back when he didn't need to and took it to a whole other level. He coulda looked like the bigger man had he just brushed off kurt's whining about him. My two pennies.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Pretty much exactly my story.

  5. My 2 favorite bands since the 90's. To me Nirvana's songs were more about the energy and feeling not necessarily the lyrics. I liked Gun's first but still liked Nirvana, even after all the drama with Courtney and Duff wanting to kill them at the awards because of the Courtney/Kurt and Axl stuff. Duff actually was one of the last people to see Kurt alive on the plane coming back from rehab to Seattle, so they must not have hated each other too bad.

  6. I thought there would be less tickets left for Nashville. Still, there is still a lot of time until the concert. This show seems to be selling better than the Stones last summer at this time. Plus they haven't even announced who is opening up yet.

reprinting and selling the robot/rape scene shirt from AFD is pretty lame since they're not the original 1987 copyrighted ones.

wearing one of those around in their brand new condition just screams poseur.

My friend is in his 50s and is wearing his original shirt from the 80s to the concert in Nashville when we go.

  8. I am so sick of ticketmaster. I already had 1 pit ticket and went for my 2nd today for my friend. Thought I had one and then it screwed up when I paid and said someone got it before me. So I got back on there and tried for another 20 min and got one. I was pumped until I looked on my app and saw that  I now have 3 PIT2 tickets and only need 2. Haven't called tm, sure they won't refund me anyway.
