People close to him in the late 90s said he played a lot of videogames.

I assume he also likes True Detective since they used the music as a concert intro sometimes in the past. Not to mention the bond films, and he seemed to get a good kick out of bumble’s Pink Panther rendition. And then there’s Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo, of course.

Off topic, but Slash seems to be a big Star Wars fan. He even went to the red carpet premiere of Rise of Skywalker. Duff, on the other hand, says Star Wars is for nerds and losers. He liked Aquaman, though, but probably just cause he’s friends with Mamoa irl.

Him being a gamer makes a lot of sense considering that he was a GTA radio host. I wonder how that came to be.

Axl has also revealed that he loves watching Netflix. He was watching Peaky Blinders according to the Dirty Honey singer.

It was one kick ass gig.

Absolutely ! It was my first time seeing and hearing Axl in person. I could not have asked for a better show....hearing that amazing rasp ! It was also the loudest show I've attended so far.

I'm forever grateful that I got to see Slash and Axl playing together...but those AC/DC shows with Axl were something else. Not just the shows.. it was incredibly refreshing to see and hear Axl performing "new songs" and giving interviews again.

But (correct me if I'm wrong here) no shows were announced with Axl were they? It was always sold as AC/DC so people had their tickets.

A lot of shows, as I recall, didn't offer refunds so people went regardless. A lot of people went along anyway as they already had their tickets/plans and gave it a go. It went down better than expected.

It's a big difference though between getting people to keep hold of the tickets they've already bought and actually selling tickets to an AC/DC tour without Brian.

There was an extra date in Düsseldorf at the end of the European tour with Axl that was announced after the AXL/DC tour has begun. The Düsseldorf show was not planned with Brian, at least not offically.

This date was still advertised as AC/DC . Most people knew though that they bought tickets to see Axl performing with AC/DC I guess, not Brian.

On the way home, another kick ass awesome show!! The mighty Guns N' Roses delivered once again!! I can write a full review but you guys know what they can do. I was very very pleased and surprised with Michelle! :headbang:Axl asked the band what to play, and said it's a request from Frank! Also got better and SOD which I loved to hear unexpected in the set!

Axl thought he was In Germany first he said hello Düsseldorf bur corrected himself afterwards twice, stating he was in Weert. And after PC he said thank you Weert Goodnight Germany

Great review ! Axl was so confused ... it's amusing

Ah ok, yeah didn't check that. EDIT: it isn't actually sold out, you can buy GA at Tier 2 prices.....which weirdly is the same price as Tier 3! I guess when/if those Tier 2 tickets sell, Tier 3 will be available.

Ignore the below as GA isn't sold out l....although my point on how shit Ticketmaster is remains. Arseholes.

I do wonder if it's Ticketmaster doing their usual routing of trying to push the more expensive shit by saying the GA is sold out. My guess would be they pop up again in a few weeks- seen that old trick done SO many times by them.

£206 for a GC ticket is very lively. Especially when you look at the map and GC is so big.

The weird thing is that I was not able to buy a Gold Tier 2 ticket on Ticketmaster yesterday.

I was able to select the quantity of the ticket before being notified that they could not find any. The same thing happened with the GA Tier 3.

I ended up looking at Axs and the Gold Tier 2 ticket was available for the same price as Ticketmaster so I bought one over there.

I am still wondering why I was not able to buy one at Ticketmaster because Gold Circle 2 is not sold out yet as far as I know.

Did that happen to anyone else ?

  6. Do you guys remember the Girl Rock School Band they used as a placeholder and some folks started researching for girl rock bands near the L.A area and contacted them if I recall correctly

Or when photos of drumsticks were analyzed to figure out who'll play with the band :D

Amazing work done by the CSI Team !

  7. Really enjoyed this episode, Brando ! :) Looking forward to part 2

It was really interesting to hear David say that the title 'Chinese Democracy' might reflect on Axl's desire to be in control.

Surprisingly, Axl actually said "No" when asked in the China Exchange interview  if he loves being a dictator.

Nobody knows for sure but sounds like an internal conflict maybe ?
