That’s right man! You have to upvote my comment in the Reddit link I posted here guys. I mean, you need to click in a kind of “thumbs up” thing there. My comment on Reddit is at the top of the page on the Reddit link I posted here. The comment was made by my username there which is Diegodasilva.

Am I the only person that wants 2001-2002? I'd absolutely love a Bucket era professionally mixed release of Nightrain etc.
We are doing step by step so we can reach there bro.

Its kind of sweet and lovely (and a bit naive) what you are doing.
Really, no harm meant. But speaking of a gap between the band and their fans repeatedly wasn’t that smart from a psychological point of view, at least in my opinion.
Anyway, I honestly wish you all the luck in the world with your plan. I personally think it’s just a waste of time and will Fernando make laugh out loud at maximum. But maybe I am just bitter after all these decades being a GNR fan. You seem to be a younger guy. Hence, All the power to the next generation of fans 😃

We need to try, Fernando is more open nowadays. The Houston 2016 and Mexico City 2016 in the last Selects wasn’t a coincidence, even the Selects themselves weren’t a coincidence, he heard what the fans wanted. He is doing that mostly with the Reddit interaction.

100% agree - it’s Rock N Roll so keep it in. 👍
I wouldn’t mind they left it in too. What I said is if it was a problem for the release, they could took it out of the live album or put in the end of it as a bonus track or something like that.

I wouldn’t mind November Rain being left in. It’s a fun moment from Axl, something that shows how much he’s changed, but obviously it would be a better listening experience if they edited out the broken piano carrying on after the band restarts.
That said, my expectation even before the tour started was that they would do another Live Era type of release from various shows.

Is there really a concert being officially released at the end of the year? Where was this confirmed?
6 hours ago, Rayno said:It wasn't. And even if it was it still doesn't mean shit.
Fernando said on Reddit they would release a concert in video and audio (if I’m not mistaken about this second option) in the end of the year. If he is saying the truth? I don’t know, we have to wait and see.

"I know you are going to officially release a concert at the end of the year" Don't wanna shit on your endeavours, but... no, we don't know. Wasn't a new album supposed to have been finished in March? 6 months, remember?
Also, I'm not interested in a NITL live audio-only. We need a dvd. Either a mixture or something from 2016. Everything is there - the footage, time... I wonder what the problem is.
Anyway, good luck.

I think @diegodasilva23 is saying the next part of his approach will be unveiled on Monday - the e-mail/Reddit post was part 1.
Yeah, you are correct.

Obviously new music is the goal but I would be absolutely stoked with a good North American 2016 concert film and live album. I love a good concert film with good mixing. The new Muse one was awesome
Cool! So make your voice heard by going there on the Reddit link and helping the cause by upvoting the post bro.

Guys, I’m working on a plan to help the band and ourselves so we can obtain some more stuff from Houston 2016. People from other forums are joining the cause.
The first move is this:
I sent Fernando an e-mail and posted it in Reddit, it is this:
Cheers Fernando! And a tip! (Please, read this, it is important)
Hi Fernando, how are you? Cheers for the last Selects! Good job man! A lot of people liked it and the fact that you heard us, the fans! Putting Houston 2016 was a nice thing, everybody loves that concert! Mexico City was good either. The majority of the complaints was about the mixing, it could have been better and made the Selects a lot better than what they already were, but the Selects was good overall. This is the kind of thing that will make the gap closer time to time, I mean, giving the fans what they want. It doesn’t need necessarily to be giving the fans free content, this is nice, but it could be with paid released material too. The fans would happily buy it, you have a true and passionate fanbase! And we feel we need to be treated better by the band. The fans want more live material, specially from the period from 1987 to 1993, 2016, 2010 and 2006-2007. I really want to help the band and the fans, so here is a big tip and step in the right direction:
—> I know you are going to officially release a concert at the end of the year, this is very cool, and I know it won’t be Houston 2016, but the show the fans really want the most from the NITL Tour is the Houston 2016 one. Said that, I know you have professionally shot specific gigs for release purposes and maybe Houston 2016 isn’t one of them, but we really think it deserves an official release by the band at least as a live album, because it is a great show overall and everyone loves this show like I said before. The fans would happily buy it, because it represents the band at its greatness of the NITL Tour. Besides that, if making a physical format of this concert as a live album would be a problem, you could release it in a paid digital format, we would still like in that way, as long as it was very well mixed.
Another thing, if the November Rain part with the broken piano would be a problem for the release too, you could take it out of the live album, it really wouldn’t be a problem for the fans, or you could put it in the end of the live album as some kind of bonus track, we don’t mind, we just really want this gig officially released and well done by the band at least as a live album. Just a live album of it would be good, would be enough, as long as it was very well mixed. All the band is shining at this performance, it is like an epic show. You could release it apart from the one you are already releasing in the end of the year or maybe the whole two concerts together, it is up to you, but we feel Houston 2016 deserves a release too.
Well, this is just a tip from a fan who understands and interacts with a lot of other fans. This is a tip to help both the band and the fans to make the gap more closer. This is a step in the right direction.
Kind regards,
A true and passionate GN’R fan.(End)

One concert from each year of the Use Your Illusion Tour, I mean, 1 from 1991, 1 from 1992 and 1 from 1993 (Skin N’ Bones leg).
1991 - I suggest Philadelphia 12/16/1991 or Stockholm 08/16/1991 or Stockholm 08/17/1991 (maybe a compilation of both Stockholm shows).
1992 - I suggest Las Vegas 01/25/1992 or São Paulo 12/10/1992 or Cologne 05/30/1992 or London 06/13/1992 (IT’S NOT THE FREDDIE MERCURY TRIBUTE CONCERT).
1993 - I suggest Cologne 06/19/1993 or Munich 06/26/1993 or Boston 03/17/1993 or Hartford 03/09/1993 or Milton Keynes 05/29/1993 or Milton Keynes 05/30/1993 (maybe a compilation of both Milton Keynes shows).
One concert from each of the three years in Blu-Ray and live album for everyone’s taste. With a high quality audio, I mean, a good mixed audio, please!
Besides that, the less important, really less important (like just an addition), but still deserves something: a remastered version of the Tokyo 1992 or Paris 1992 concerts (especially with a better mixing of sound) in Blu-Ray and live album too. -

The fan edition of NITL selects can be found HERE and it does feature Troubadour unlike the official clips released by GNR!!!
I want this “You Could Be Mine“ to be officially released! Imagine that in a live album, Blu-Ray or DVD, it would be awesome!

1. Pittsburgh 2002
2. Boston 2002
3. Rock in Rio IV 2011
4. Puerto Rico 2010
Thank you, dude! Another question regarding the “Estranged” versions I mentioned: Do you prefer which one of these two overall, I mean, instrumental parts and vocal parts together?
-
I'm building a live playlist from 2000 on based on soundboards and IEMs. If you all could help me, I would be grateful. I want an opinion about this:
1 - Do you prefer "November Rain" from KROQ Inland Invasion 2006 or Pittsburgh 2002? (focusing on Axl's vocals)
2 - Do you prefer "Mr. Browstone" from Boston 2002 or Columbus 2002? (focusing on Axl's vocals)
3 - Do you prefer "Estranged" from Rock in Rio 2011 or Apollo 2017? (focusing on Axl's vocals)
4 - Do you prefer "Paradise City" from Puerto Rico 2010 or Los Angeles 2011? (focusing on Axl's vocals)

What the fuck is this?
I hope this means something good, but, as said by someone here before, the link goes to a YouTube playlist of what they played at that day in Hammerstein 2006. So, it’s strange.
-
From 2016, I think Houston, Philadelphia and Detroit are good choices.
-
In my opinion, the 04/09/2016 Las Vegas concert (the second night) would be a decent live album.
-
In my opinion, from Troubadour, considering they release 5 songs from it at the best scenario, I think they would put out:
- Welcome to the Jungle
- Live and Let Die
- Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door
- Better (or Chinese Democracy)
- Paradise City
— Maybe as alternative songs in the place of some listed above:
- It’s So Easy
- Nightrain
-
Just a quick question about other subject: do you prefer Paradise City from Las Vegas 04/09/2016 IEM, Iceland 2018 IEM, Puerto Rico 2010 soundboard or London 2012 soundboard? (In terms of audio quality and Axl's vocals) (I'm doing a live playlist)
