  1. I sent an e-mail to the e-mail Fernando posted. I wrote this:

Hi, how are you? So there are some suggestions fans really want to happen:

1 - In this period of Covid-19, the band could di release audios of concerts from 1987 to 1993, mixed and remastered properly, as it would be done with an official live album. The band could charge for it and make it available in MP3 or FLAC format so the buyer can choose his preference. Metallica does it with every single show they do and their fans are very happy with it.

2 - The band could also do the same thing listed above with concerts from 2016. This is the year the fans like the most from the Not In This Lifetime Tour. Or, the band could do a compilation of the best performances of this year and release it, mixed and remastered properly, as it would be done with an official live album.

3 - Similar to the two topics above, the band could also digitally release video concerts from 1987 to 1993 and from 2016, edited, mixed and remastered properly, as it would be done with official live DVDs/Blue-Rays. The band could also charge for it.

4 - The band could release live footage of songs from concerts on its YouTube Channel so the fans could enjoy them. It just needs to be 1 song from each concert. Metallica does it too and has a great response from their fans.

5 - In this period of Covid-19, it’s the best time for the band to release a single or more songs of its next album (it can be done digitally), because people are at home, so it’s more likely that they will listen to the song or songs.

The Led Zeppelin DVD came out for a few reasons:

    - LZ did not play any other shows - no opportunity for a DVD from a later date
    - No other opportunity to see them live - 20 million people registered for tickets for that show (including half this forum at the time!)
    - There was huge buzz about the show itself that continued years later. There was massive demand for the release.

You can't really say the same for a GN'R gig from 2016. I love your enthusiasm but I don't think it's a realistic comparison.

I’m not enthusiastic about it, I’m just saying that maybe there is some hope for it. And regarding comparison, I understand what you are saying, your point of view, but it’s not hard to think the band would release a live CD/DVD/Blue-Ray, as the band loves money and it would be a easy way to obtain money. And remember the band released the Appetite for Democracy DVD which is a bad concert and a strange thing to do, in my opinion. But, since we are talking about Guns N’ Roses, I understand it’s difficult to believe they would release something regarding new music or live performances, but we never know too.

  3. I know there is a huge lack of studio and live material officialy released by the band, but keep the faith people. I know it's very difficult doing it regarding the band, but let's have some hope. I'm saying that, because, for example, the Led Zeppelin's reunion concert happened in 2007 and it was only released as a live CD/DVD in 2012, in other words, after 5 years, but it was released. Maybe it happens with a 2016 concert of the Guns N' Roses too. I'm not here trying to defend the band, argue with somebody or something like this, but I'm trying to say it may happen.

  4. I’ll say based on pro-shots, soundboards and IEM sources I know:

Chinese Democracy - Las Vegas 04/09/2016

    Shackler’s Revenge - Las Vegas 12/30/2011

    Better - New York 2017 (Apollo 2017)

Street of Dreams - Las Vegas 2001 (House of Blues 2001) or Boston 2002

    Sorry - Los Angeles 2011

    Madagascar - Boston 2002

    This I Love - Las Vegas 11/09/2012

Neither of them were hits.. Ain't It Fun did get some airplay on the radio but I don't think Estranged ever did.  While a great song, Estranged was a flop on MTV as well. In the States Guns popularity was dying down a bit. The whole grunge era  had moved in and it was cool for people to hate on Guns.. Even a good portion of the hard rock/metal community were kind of burnt out on Axl around that time.

Thank you for the answer dude! Can you answer me another one? Were “Since I Don’t Have”, “Sympathy For The Devil” and “Yesterdays” hits?

That doesn't make any sense because all the other songs from Appetite For Democracy that they uploaded back in the day are still there.

I hope we get a NITL documentary + a live BluRay with the best version of each song, though. That would be fucking gold.

Why this doesn’t make sense? They could be taking down song by song and not all at a single time. But, it’s just a thought. This could mean nothing too.

Oh - I’m sure it’s a CD to NITL era recording without doubt. My UYI comment was the fact there was what sounded like female backing singers but this could have been Melissa. 👍

And it was Axl on a good night too as it was vocally on point and not ‘Mickey’. Who knew this would turn into such a saga!! 😆

Was the song speeded up or in its normal time? Other question, was the female backing vocal composed by one singer only or it seemed more than one woman singing?
