Just going down on the train now, just a little heads up from my experience last year watching Rolling Stones and Pearl Jam take a large empty water bottle to put your Beer in and buy two at a time I was in a queue for beer for 40 mins last year just before the bands took to the stage. Have a great time everybody attending and enjoy.

The most irritating thing,is that some people use Izzy's name just to win some publicity... The problem is that they do not understand that izzy decides where he is going to give an interview... Not them. So they should stop trying force him to speak about the reunion or smth else.. @Archtop we 've missed you
Thanks, I miss you all, I will try to drop in a bit more, but everything went so quiet on the Izzy front. I half wonder if he got scared off by the petition, You know like awkward about it?

Hi!
See the clip I posted a few posts back.
Eddie is just talking about what Matt said in that.
It's not new music. The title is misleading.
Eddie just didn't know that Matt and Izzy had done FP Money together, and didn't seem to know that Izzy had been releasing new music at all in the past few years, and was quite excited about this fact.
Matt and his new band were on Eddie's show, doing a live thing in the Rainbow in LA last week as part of NAMM, and someone prompted Eddie to ask Matt about Izzy.
Matt then just spoke about how they'd done FP Money and spoke a bit about where Izzy lives, how they'd been to each other's houses etc.
Nothing new so far
That's not to say that Izzy won't collaborate with Matt again soon, because Matt did say "he could call me tomorrow...(and we could do a song"...
But so far Matt has only talked about writing new stuff with Deadland Ritual
I should know better than to just come in and not look back at the last couple of pages. Soooo disappointing it’s not something new, Trunk seems kinda of clueless, but often is unless his talking about music in his comfort zone.
New news that his living out in the desert, so Ojai must be like a recording studio. Palm Springs, is where Matt lives is that area desert?

Hello. Long time since I have been in here, hope everyone’s well. I came across this today. Does anyone know more about trunk is talking about? A new collaboration with Izzy, is this something to do with Matts new band.

My first show was Izzy's last
and it sucks.
I’m convinced this is the reason why there is no clear footage of this show.

iam reading mick walls book and iam going to write some parts for izzy. something happened these days with videos and i wasn't pretty sure if i should post it!many fans(included this forum) got probems by uploading bootlegs etc... yesterday del james had conversation with some people from here in twitter aboout uploading..I read the text...and i assume that is for this reason.....Anyway i hope people be ok... izzy is so beautiful here but you understand that he doesnt want to participate anymore!
I think Izzy is better off out of it, if the attitude surrounding the GnR camp is anything like Dels initial response to my tweet.

Alfred hates Slash because he wants DJ back in the band. When I interviewed Billy Rowe, Alfred left a tweet that said #SlashMurderedToddCrew. I wish I screen capped that. His goal is to break up the reunion and get NuGNR back. I wish I was making this up.
He bashed Perla on my show and on his FB. I'll have to go back and find where in eps 31/36. Said things similar to the Blabbermouth article.
Oh I see, if Perla being attacked TB must know what’s going on.
-
Wow, it took me some time to work out what the initial tweet was all about and I went back to listen to the two podcasts. I can’t believe this is taking place.
I still confused by the connection to Perla and the Alfred guy, but the GnR camp really need to comment on this.
So nobody minds if I do some tweeting and tagging?

i've had the same problem It would be an awesome one for TB to release. Did you go the following year too?
No, only this one and unfortunately I drank to much, so quite honestly I don’t remember it as clearly as I want to. 😟 That’s why I would like a good quality recording.

I posted on the main thread re @Boogs petition, but myGod there’s are some miserable soles in there. I really can not understand why any GnR fan wouldn’t think yeah why not, I’ll sign it, it can’t do any harm, would be cool to see Izzy!

his last show with GNR..
I was also at this one, for years I have been trying to find better quality recording. it drives me mad, there’s some brilliant footage of Skid Row on the same night. So if any one can point me in direction of a better link, it would be much appreciated.😀

Well done @Boogs it’s a great idea, I have faith 😀 I hope Izzy sees it. If you achieve nothing else Izzy can’t fail to see the appreciation and fan base he has for his SOLO music.
It might come to nothing or it might just give him a little motivation to try something, a one off with friends. Hell at this point I would be quite happy with another little video of Izzy and his acoustic guitar.
I say, if you don’t try, it won’t happen. So to all the Debbie Downers out there why so negative. 👎🏼

wow this thread is really dropping 😢. Anyway I mentioned it on Twitter and it was a question I put to Jimmy regarding videos of the JUJu shows. Did Izzy mention in the past that his brother toured with them quite a bit and recorded footage of a lot of the shows? am I just dreaming? I know @Zoot and others are much better at remembering interview details than I am, don’t know if anyone might be able to find quotes.
-
It was a great listen, Jimmy can really tell a story. I’m a little disappointed that his book is not as far along as some of us thought it was. I say that not just from a juju hounds fan point, I also think Jimmy gives an amazing snap shot of being a part of a music era, time, and place so many of us are interested in.
@Gambit83 Thank you for asking my questions, nice to hear some Broken home stories, they were a good band I use to have all three albums on a MP3 file long since lost, recently found gig footage on YouTube, bad sound but fun to watch.
Such a shame nobody’s sitting on old Juju hounds footage, was certain Izzy mentioned it in an interview. Really wish we could lobby these guys to do a one off for 30 years. I know Izzy has acted on fan pressure in the past.

I wonder if he fixes up the cars and sells them or does some sort of banger racing? Izzy the used car salesmen.

Appetite for Distortion is about to interview Jimmy Ashhurst his inviting questions.
I know I have loads, but right now can’t think of a single thing, anyone else remember some of the questions we had about Juju hounds .

*sharpening knifes* Waiting for there next opportunity
Seriously though, hardly seen a negative comment tonight !No sitting here watching and enjoying the show, and when it’s finished I will post just how good Axl sounds over last week. That I might just warm to slither and Yeah they did SOYL. Credit where credit is due!

I’m tired of hearing Axl must have a cold every time he starts a tour. No excuses he is out of practice and sucks. I always cringe for the first couple of shows, caused by a mixture of his missed vocals, and shear embarrassment that he has the audacity to front a show without keeping his voice in check.
I agree it didn’t help tonight that the sound seemed off, so I will wait to hear what some of the people attending have to say.
It was my first time listening to Slither -(my bad) so I don’t really have an opinion on Axls performance, other than looking at it as if it were a new/cover song, but it really did nothing for me.
I am amazed that they didn’t do SOYL, why release a new song and not perform it ???? I just don’t get the thinking behind this band.

You are not over reaching!!!!!!
(Hopefully)
I don’t think so, though. Sorry Were they chatting in cc? lol. Quite endearing to think so. Apparently Izzy reached out over twitter to Neil?
Thank you, I got the impression it's an actual e-mail exchange, which means they are in contact, it might be Izzy picked up on Neil's intrestt in him when he first joined Twitter .
Uggh as normal with this band every tiny speck of info, opens up a landslide of new questions.

What a show had a great time, my feet a killing me from the dancing. Axl sounded great for the most part, can’t knock him the energy he gives is pure entertainment.
Loved the set list, Slash is as phenomenal as ever, but he can go on a bit with his noodling.
Thought Duff was a little lost in the mix, I enjoyed t.v eye.
Thought it was a big crowd possibly more than the Stones last year. As always at Hyde park no signal, beers extortionate and it’s bugger to get out, but all well worth it.
