yea but that's the FOS area for 1700$.

For 600$ you can stand 2 kilometers away from the stage.

OK, there's still a GA area in front of the stage and like most "PIT" tickets they are the most expensive ticket.  Really not sure what your point is.  I mean you can pay $1600 for pit tickets for 6 bands that individually would cost at least $300 each (or more) for similar.  Seems like a bargain to me actually.

he soldout because he's greedy. As far as I'm concerned, it's as simple as that. The quality of his live show and having fun up there on stage has nothing to do with it. Some fans will attend a show no matter what, but being a part of the problem, and enabling the fleecing of the fans is not right.

I like his music and will continue to listen to his albums, but let's try to be objective here: it was pure greed, and if he truly gave a shit about his fans, he wouldn't make a lame ass excuse that goes against everything he said he stood for and the backlash he got from hardocre fans was well deserved imo.

he showed his true colors, I think he's a fraud. It's not like he can't afford to be considerate of his fans, he's already rich, but I guess for some, it's never enough.

Saying someone "sold out" because they are getting market value for their services is quite possibly the stupidest thing I've heard in some time.  Well done.

  3. I have a friend who contacted me and is working as an independent contractor for this event and was told to book housing for two weekends for this event.  You can still find some reasonably priced hotel rates in the area for the second weekend, but I'd advise booking a refundable rate as I'm sure a second weekend may depend on how weekend one sells and how fast, etc.

the tour is still   selling poorly.

the band will not play stadiums again in the US after this. ( i think change of venues are in the cards)

We said this after the last tour.....not sure how or why but people are making money off them not selling well in some stadiums apparently.

GnR is playing the same night as Maiden. I thought they hated each other, no? Who’s opening for who?

Makes sense to have ACDC and Ozzy on the same night. That gig will be historic!

Don't believe the term "opener" is appropriate as both bands on both nights are playing full sets, full production, etc......but it appears that Maiden would be playing first on Friday then GnR (usually the first band listed plays last on a given day/night).

Of course, at the very bottom is mention of "Premium Tickets" dynamic pricing a la Ticketmaster, meaning that a significant number of tickets/passes will be held back and sold at ridiculously higher prices.

Or lower...the speculation is this will not sell as well as Desert Trip did and Desert Trip had a decent availability of tickets below face on the secondary market.

This is purely a CYA thing....hey, we can raise or lower these prices based on demand and  you don't get money back if we lower them and you already purchased type thing.  Not saying I like it, but that is what this is here for if sales explode they can raise prices, if the demand isn't there they will lower prices and if you already purchased....FU

All that's left for the first New Jersey show is official platinum. To me,if there aren't standard tickets left, it's sold out. I guess no show is ever truly sold out then since there's official platinum and fan to fan resale along with StubHub, Seatgeek etc

Point stands that new music from most legacy acts isn't gonna move tickets.

And using Metalica as evicence that new music doesn't move tickets is a poor choice, they literally have a new song out and album coming in April.

A new album isn't gonna sell tons of tickets. Metallica sold out many of their shows a year or more in advance for 23/24 not due to the album coming soon but because they promised a different show each night of their weekend stand and have openers that can shift tickets on their own (fake Pantera for one). Plus I think they did some kind of decently priced package for both nights. Stuff like that moves tickets not a new album featuring absurd.

I just looked and not one of the Upcoming US Metallica shows are sold out, maybe you are talking about Europe, I dunno

First of all we don't know what Izzy is asking for, second GNR is not working for the fans, third they get along just fine without Izzy, and fourth just a few hardcore Fans really care about Izzy. The majority couldn't give a shit about wether he is there or not.

And lastly Izzy probably doesn't want to be in guns anymore. So this discussion is pointless

So, hey you can't speculate (about what Izzy wanted to rejoin the band), but I can speculate (that he probaly doesn't want to be in Guns anymore) lol.  What a hypocritical knob you are

    Wtf?

I saw a funny written post that made me laugh and made a joke, not remotely a harsh one either.

If you don't find it funny fair enough, it wasn't meant for you. If she found it offensive I'm sure she is capable of saying that herself without you wading in to protect her like some sort of self appointed saviour.

I'm sure you don't know who I am, there's no reason you should.

Thanks for showing me who you are though. Fucking prick

LOL, look at this douche calling probably the nicest poster here a prick.....

Isn't Skin N' Bones Tour a name for a leg? Like "American Summer Tour '91", "Get In The Ring Tour '91 - '92", "Stadium Tour '92", "Guns N' Roses / Metallica Stadium Tour" and "Skin N' Bones Tour" ?

OH MY GOD, I didn't name the god damn tour.  Skin and Bones was the name of the tour starting FEB 1993, that is just a fact, let it go.

The Use Your Illusion Tour ran from January 20, 1991, to July 17, 1993.

Get in the ring was the first legs NAME and Skin & Bones was the last legs NAME

come on man, get it together :D

    Again WRONG

    Double Talking Jive was played 178 times on UYI Tour. (1991: 53, 1992: 70, 1993: 55)

and November Rain 170 times … so get your facts right or gtfo

My facts are straight.  The last couple legs of the 1993 tour were called the Skin N Bones tour, not UYI...so you can go fuck yourself.

It's nice to have a couple ultra-rare tracks like Bad Apples, Perfect Crime, Mama Kin, and Train Kept A Rollin', along with another rendition of It's Alright.

Perfect Crime wasn't "ultra rare".  It was played as many times as Rocket Queen on the UYI tour, which is 36.  Civil War was the most played song at 131.  Bad Apples is ultra rare, Breakdown is ultra rare even Coma, Dead Horse and Locomotive are ultra rare.

I don't believe that Steven would ever have been asked back as anything other than a guest. Axl's loyal to Frank.

ok...?  Oh I see you weren't around when this all went down.  Do not believe it was ever the intent for Steven to replace Frank, but that Steven would play on "some" songs (again we don't know what was really intended as things changed at damn near the last minute when Steven literally couldn't play at the Troubador gig due to back issues).

Why not add Steven to the mix WITH Frank? 😏 In my Fictional Axl Rose story, Young Axl's philosophy is,"The More, the Merrier," even bringing TWENTY ONE Band Members together at at least one point. 😏 I don't see why real life Axl can't just have Frank and Steven play together constantly. 😏

That's already been done....I mean come on lol

The full Ritz bluray has been uploaded on YouTube (for now) along with a pinned tracklist. Enjoy it while you can M'fkers!!

I can tell I've had the GNR fever since YCBM was released from this set cause I can't take my eyes off the forums. The nostalgia and excitement from this release will never be seen again on these forums I'm pretty sure. It has hit us all, bringing out feelings we've buried deep for years over lack of any new content.

Lastly, I don't speak for anyone else but this is far more interesting to me than getting more oddball tracks that sound like they've spent years being cut & pasted, then bolted together hastily. Live Era, as we are all discovering was the tell tale sign of how we would get any new music post 1994, it would be piece mealed from multiple sessions so Axl could "George Lucas" the classic era of the band with endless studio tinkering

You should have been around in 2016....this is nothing compared to then.

Axl had the brilliant and risky idea of releasing two double albums on the same day, and it worked, both albums went to #1 and #2 on Billboard, just see what these shit pop artists do, fans sell a kidney for whatever thing, but GNR has loyal fans, so they still fill stadiums. But I don't believe in a full album before 2025 due to the deal made with the fuckin' old manager in 2005

What do you mean "fill stadiums"....they fill some and for others they shut entire sides, levels, and sections etc off.  Not trying to be rude, but your impression that GnR sell out or primarily fill up every stadium they play is mis-leading if that is that you are trying to say.

i wonder the truth about the spot for steven in the troubadour concert in 2016

All stories seem to jive in that Steven was rehearsing and going to at least be a part of the Troubador show in one manor or another...and seemingly was going to be part of the tour until his back problems began to become a concern for the band or Axl.....and they told him to get healed and he could guest later in the tour (which he did then pissed Axl off apparently in Argentina and that was that).
