    What are you talking about?

All these years they did nothing to not upset partner Putin, bit now it's ok to do so when Putin don't need them anymore.

"West" was Putins greatest sponsor during all these years...

  2. Drone that crashed in Zagreb on Thursday was armed with air bomb according to our military investigators.

Bomb exploded (not sure before or in the crash)

It crashed 50 meters from university campus near city center of NATO member capital.

Duting its flight it crossed above Romania, Hungary and at last Croatia...

All NATO members... Not very comforting situation to realize that NATO membership doesn't mean shit...

  3. confirmed - TU-141 (weight 6tons) successfully crashed in capital of EU and NATO country, and no one noticed it while flying over two NATO and EU members. \o/

At least, we know (and not only we) how well is NATO defense prepared in Europe...

  4. Well, last night flying object crashed in Zagreb, Croatia...

Source says that it drone Tu-141 that came froM Ukraine (500-600 km away).

So it flew over Hungary and crashed in Croatia. Putin can sleep well, since NATO air defence also sleeps (both countries are NATO members) and waits that rogue drones crash in middle of city...

Poor Ukraininas if they belive NATO is gonna save them...

I actually want this war to stop and I'm grown up enough to realize Putin isn't magically going to disappear. The Ukrainians will lose this war, and NATO and the US don't want to get into a shooting war with Russia (with China lurking on the sidelines). I'd rather have the Ukrainians lose now and negotiate some type of peace rather than get obliterated completely. You guys who want to give arms to Ukraine are just delaying the inevitable and giving Ukraine false hope (and there will be more dead Ukrainians in the process of that). That's my take.

Why stop there? Get troops there and side with Russians to reach the end of war even faster..

Here's my thing, they can choose to fight, that's their right. But it's also my right to refuse them arms to encourage them to keep doing so. If they know no support is coming from the outside that gives them more incentive to negotiate a deal now rather than later.

A Holomodor part 2 isn't coming. Let's just put that to the side. I'm not saying Putin is a good guy, but he's not Stalin, Kaganovich, or Beria level bad.

Thank god you are part of minority.

  7. Don't really understand posts questioning helping and cheerung Ukraine. Their people woukd rather die fighting than living as Russians slaves. And yes, slaves would they be. Just like they did in years before WW2 - read about The Holodomor. And just like they were in years after WW2...

And while they want to fight, only correct way for the rest of us is to help them every way we can ( and fear of Putins wrath allow us)...

While Ukraine people have attitude like this:

No way Russia could rule them even if they defeat their army. Ukraine is large country, has 40 mil people, you cannot occupy it and hold by force, especialy if you are Russia whose economy is almost zero under sanctions, and already have to control few potential hotbeds of rebellion accros 2 continents, support puppet goverment in only "friendly" country - current Belarus gvnt would collapse within days without Putins help.

I'm not exactly a fan of Reagan but I just saw this and found it really amusing.

some of those were common in former Yugoslavia. I remember them :D

Gorbachov driver (there is "modern" version with Pope) and soldier killing neighbour before curfew because he knows where he lives :D

  9. Not great newa to read after waking up...

Morons bombing nuclear plant? This showa - not onky Putin is in this, but more Russians... And it's time to change political correctness. Fuck with that. If aomeone orders ti you that you bomb nuclear plant, and you do it - you are reponsible for it... And to me, this isn't any different than launching nuclear missles...

And to those who type about how bad is helping Uktaine with weapons and shit. Imagine you live in country bordering Ukraine - would you like better that your neighbour is Ukraine or Russia?

Every day it gets worse and worse. I don't see how the Ukraine can survive this war? Most of the people have gone to other countries. If I see one more child's face I will lose it. It saddens me and makes me so pissed that these people's lives are so fucked up by Putin the terrible. Can't anyone stop this short of WWIII? I will l never understand this whole war.

The Ukraine President is one brave man, but I'm afraid it Russia takes their capital he won't survive and the soldiers will make an example of him and that would be just horrible.

Whole cities are totally destroyed.  Life for the People of Ukraine will never be the same nor will the rest of the world.

Putin has to be stopped. I don't know how short of assassination which for some stupid reason no one can do.

all I can say is the people of Ukraine both soldiers and regular citizens are very brave and by some miracle I hope they defeat Russia. But the loss of life is just too sad to think about.

Like I said one brave man. I hope he survives to get his country back to the way it was and tells Putin to go to HELL>

1 million people left Ukraine. Not most of them - there are 40 million of them. Also, unlike in many other warzones, many women took weapon and stayed for help. Also, Russian troops aren't winning much, they only lunch missles on resident areas (like all good peacekeepers)...

Also, after 50yrs under Russian boot, many Polish probably wishd they went "fight or die" way in 1945. (As soon as regime weakened almost all nations escaped from it and from artifitial and by force assembled federations of nations... some had luck (and common sense) to break those  "alliances" peacefuly.

I enjoy when people from western countries talk about life in socialism and under communist boot.

I have been wondering if the current situation in ukrainian cities ends up like Sarajevo, like Vukovar or other similar events back then.

Well, until now (as far as we know) russian soldiers don't do any executions in occupied areas. They are even scared because they seem to not know why are they there.

In ex-yu wars situation where civilians are stopping tanks or armed soldiers would end in blood bath... That war was fed by hate between nations that was cultivated trough decades (even centuries) in history.

But indiscriminate bombing of towns and cities is 1st step to that. Also, Putins(and from some of his enturage) rhetoric is very reminiscent to Milosevic one ("Ukrainians don't exist, they are Russians", "they are all Nazis", "we are in peace mission to defend endangered Russians in Ukraine"...)

Another peace talk to occur tomorrow

That is bullshit. In our war during 90s there was hundreds peace talks and even tens of agreement of peace. Only in paper... Grenades were falling during them...

Peace came after big scale military action that freed great part of our cluntry, other was peacfully returned because of fear after 1st action.

You cannot negotiate in situations like these. Peace talks preparations under missile fire, yeah right...

  13. Russia, bith national team and clubs, suspended from UEFA and FIFA competitions, also basketball clubs suspended...

Shell and BP leaving from Gazprom.

Russia is on its way to be the most isolated country in history. Hope its people find strenght and capability to kick him out of position and make changes in way Russia is run. Because, "Putin" after Putin is not a solutuion...

We, Sweden, are currently sending 135,000 field rations, 5,000 helmets, 5,000 body shields and 5,000 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine!

I've never felt so much patriotism for another country then I do for Ukraine right now!

Well, if you look at situation rational - it's better to put out the fire in neighbor's house than wait it spread to yours...

Still can't believe this is happening? I watch the world news and see thousands of people escaping their homeland. How nuts is that?

Putin spreading lies about Ukraine's President to justify his invasion. Trump calling him a genius. If anyone votes for this bastard in 2014 they need to be thrown out of the US.

I know I would never be able to be as brave as these people. Mothers leaving their husbands behind to fight this war. Traveling to another country not knowing what will happen next.

all these brave men and women fighting for their freedom. Will they be successful? I wish the US and other countries in Europe could do more.

Why can Putin get away with this? Can't someone kill him or bomb Moscow? I know it would be an "act of war", but what is Russia invading Ukraine called?

I can' t understand how the world can stand by and witness this?

The dallas morning news had a picture of Chi from China reading the paper with a smile on his face about Russia invading Ukraine and a person supposedly from Taiwan shaking. I mean is this next?

North Korea is sending missals off again. WFT? is going on?

This is the worse of humanity yet again.

You cannot just bomb capital of state that owns the most nukes in the world...

Chance to minimase situation like this was 15yrs ago when Russia was poor giant , but world waches elsevere...

Now, we can hope that wise men surrounding Putin grow a pair and "remove" him...

Last night, first refugees came to Croatia, and today, first Croatian volunteers reached Ukraine...
