I don't have an ear for drums like some world class drummer-posters here, but I see difference in energy when Adler is there and when any one else is there...
It's just natural when he plays in GNR gig and that's it. No Sorum, No Brain, No Frank... just Popcorn - he is that source of juvenile, wild energy that is in the core of GNR
I'm saying this as person who thinks that Frank's doing good job there...

Italy - great as on every tournament - they hit those overpriced Belgians right in their noses. Team that has microphone wannabe as their playmaker isn't better than circus act . . .
Germany - slow start, but they are always like that, Spain depends on Iniesta, France on Payet...
England - overpriced as always...
Croatia did great against Turks, but it's only start.
The rest (Suisse, Sweden, Ireland...) were mediocre or just bad...
And riots? You just can't put English and Russian fans and ultras together in Marseilles and let police act like in TAXI movies...

Adler... Well, I don't have ear for technique or anything - AFD is my favorite album overall, not just Guns, so every musician from it is my favorite for GNR
I like Frank's powerhitting, wasn't mutch in NuGNR so I don't have an opinion.for Brain. Matt did good job on UYI, and during their greatest touring era...
