  1. Q for you wearing masks because of beer virus: did you wear it before because of seasonal flu?- here it's still active, this year was pretty heavy - but noone cinsidered buying tons of food supply and hiding in home till spring. But last two days - mass histeria - 3 infected - all of them getting better... no masks to buy anymore (note to myself - make a stock so could sell for next years dangerous disease)...

Apparently Metallica has dropped out of the Sonic Temple festival in Ohio in mid May, and RHCP will be headlining in their place instead for the first night, and Tool on the last night.

Wonder why Metallica dropped out. Is James still having issues? Does anyone here know?

    Dear Metallica Family,

It pains me to write this, but I have to let all of you know that I cannot make it to Sonic Temple in Columbus and Louder Than Life in Louisville this year. As part of my continuing effort to get and stay healthy, I have critical recovery events on those weekends that cannot be moved. I apologize to all of our fans who have bought tickets for these festivals. We are working with the festival promoters to provide for refunds or exchanges. My intent with this statement is saying “I apologize” to each one of you. The reality is that I have not prioritized my health in the past year of touring and I now know that my mental health comes first. That might sound like a no-brainer for most of you but I didn’t want to let the Metallica team/family down and, I alone, completely compromised myself.

Looking on the brighter side, my therapy is going well. It was absolutely necessary for me to look after my mental, physical, and spiritual health.

I want to stress that the band will play all other announced 2020 shows.

I am looking forward to getting back to playing and seeing all our great South American fans in April. And, of course, playing Epicenter in Charlotte, Welcome to Rockville in Daytona and Aftershock in Sacramento. We will still play two unique sets at each of these festivals.

Beyond 2020, I am optimistic about the blessings I have been given and what the future brings. I appreciate all the great prayers and support from everyone since I went into rehab last September. Like the moth into the flame, being human in this career has its huge challenges and can be difficult. Your understanding helps the healing.

  4. Todays casual fans are interested in hype. Reunion raised it to the top and big world stadium tour was great success... with years touring novelty of reunion and wide interest fell... if GNR want repeat 2016 they have to do smth that will earn them worldwide spotlight and raise interest from casuals... for musician easiedt way imto do this is to release smo good new music... today, only Stones have constant status of gods worldwide and can sell whatever, whenever and wherever no matter what they do or not do... the rest need to find their way...

Only other solution is artist death - that ensures big sales in months after - but for artist - it s too late then...

At £85, I predict the crowd will consist of a few rich Londoners and foreign travelling fans. Cannot see it selling out.

Guess some of euro2020 football fans will be there at a time. 4 games are scheduled in Glasgow between june 19 and 30... Flight and Accommodation prices could be brutal...

I don’t think people in their middle age make pop music that will knock you on your arse, I just don’t think it happens.

Also, when you get into middle age, very few things can knock you on your arse 😂

  7. There is interest... There would be more few years ago when Axl was "biggest thing" in rock - reunion and AC/DC thing - all the world press talked about it...

Sure, they wont make big $$ like in 80s and 90s but would probably top the charts (specially if the do Metallica thing - attach the album with concert ticket - with 30-50 shows for 50-80000 people, that would be few mils copies)

Every month they stall, interest would be smaller and smaller...  And big promo? Today? Not needed - how many followers they have on facebook, instagram, twitter, youtube? Take Angus at some guest spot and promo is doing itself with few normal posts (not standard GNR f'n cringe bullshit)

If they want it - they can have no1 album just for releasing it.... it would be a novelty just like reunion was.
