Dropkick Murphys for idea of the stage & crowd in daylight; Gn'R playing Coma, Disturbed playing Ten Thousand Fists. Enjoy!
Also, a high point as mentioned in the concert thread, Axl's band introduction ended with him joking about being done, or did he forget something? and then saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, my good friend Slash."

Martial arts are good exercise for staying in shape. I've not seen Rob Z in a thousand years and I only remember him as a bunch of hair
I saw them last Saturday in Louisville at the Louder than Life Festival. It was my third NITL show; stadium, arena, and now festival. They played a full 3 hours. Below are my notes from the concert thread:
The band sounded terrific. Slash is always the highlight.
1. Phone service was terrible. I gave up trying to post comments & pics.
2. Axl varied between strong and wavering, but mostly sounded decent.
3. It seems that Frank has found a better groove. No complaints. The band was tight.
4. Rocket Queen & KOHD are toooo long. I love Coma, though.
5. Coming on stage late was not good. The difference in crowd energy between standing around for almost 45 minutes, or the next night when Disturbed teed off right after Rob Zombie, was huge. The late start probably contributed to the crowd thinning out well before the end. Also, nobody knew to chant "Guns and Roses" to get an encore. Which of course they played anyway.
5. I read that some people thought Axl was lip syncing. What may have happened was that Melissa and/or Duff were occasionally singing the melody with Axl. When he snapped the mic down, I did notice once or twice that the note continued and those two were at their mics.
6. This was my third show of the never-ending tour, and they do mix it up some. I liked Madagascar with the spoken lyrics on screen this time. The guy I was with was glad to hear Patience, which we didn't get at Chicago I in 2016. We both thought that Axl does justice to Wichita Lineman, although most of the crowd didn't seem to recognize it. Axl was prowling the stage with a gleam in his eye, and I really enjoyed his Slash intro.
7. It was hot, there wasn't much breeze, and by the end of the night my feet were killing me. The crowd surfers were crazy. I was up toward the front for Ice Cube, and even closer to the stage for Godsmack, but it was too hot, crowded, and loud! I abandoned my post and enjoyed GnR from the mid-back, sliding forward as the crowd thinned. The stage side screens visuals were big, and the sound mix was clear, so it was all good!
Rob Zombie played the next night. He is still a bunch of hair lol. His guitarist is John 5 - 1st time I had seen him. Actually, it was my first time seeing all the Sunday bands - Breaking Benjamin, Marilyn Manson (never imagined that!), Rob Zombie, & Disturbed. I'll try to post a couple of pictures.

I was having a great time a couple rows from the front when a crowd surfer kicked me in the back of the head. I got really dizzy and had to get out of there, then came the puking and the fuzzy feeling in my head. So I went to the EMS tent where I was told no I could not have an Ice pack heres a bottle of water if your head feels bad go to the ER.
Hope you're OK now!

Chiming in to congratulate us on 1000 pages of Women's Discussion Part 2!
I saw the band last weekend, and there really isn't much new to discuss. I gotta say, Axl could consult with Rob Zombie on being in shape. Apparently RZ's a vegan and does yoga or martial arts or something, and it clearly pays off. That guy moves like he's in his early 30s, and he's only 3 years younger than Axl.
Carry on!

He's a country/rock artist who played in Duff's band on his recent solo tour. He's also the son of Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter.
Duff was wearing a Shooter Jennings t-shirt at Louder than Life. Reppin' his friend.

What
He is large. Compare today videos to some 2018 ones. I thought he was fat then but now he is way bigger. He definitely doesn’t look fit at all. Duff and Richard are. Last time you could call Axl fit was in 2007.
Give it a rest.

I'm still here and am looking forward to the upcoming GNR shows. See you in Louisville and New Orleans.
Well OK! I’ve always wondered. See you in Louisville, though we won’t know each other.

Is this the forum's @Eddie Money? Sad that the real Eddie is gone, either way. Condolences to his family.

Where's @triad i'll need her help
I'm a no. All my weekends in September are busy. The competitor in me can't just draft and then not have time to tweak my lineup each week. Plus I'd need a new strategy for 1/2 PPR. It will be too stressful!!!
You can still shoot me a pm anytime with questions.

@triad what's ppr?
Hi, Jan!
Flake gave the definition above. Our league the last two years was 1 PPR. PPR is a league option to try to adjust the average points earned by receivers (and tight ends, heehee) to be more equal to points earned by running backs.

I created a league and might need 2 or 3 more players to fill it (10 team, half ppr)
hit me up if you wanna join.
Wait, this is a different league than @Tourettes2400 has run the last couple of years? With different people, or the same people and a different commissioner and format (1/2 ppr)?

Yeah Duff's workout is on a whole other level.
I think he focuses mostly on his arms.
His core strength has to be decent to do those handstands.
