Good lord. Slash has worked with everybody, and they've all talked about his humility, professionalism and work ethic. The only people who seemed to have had this dark, ominous perception of him were the hired hands. Agree, People who worked with Slash usually have always kind and nice words to say about him.

I always thought that Frank was more reffering to Team Brazil and Axl? As they never had nice words for Slash or wanted him to be around them ... (before Slash and Axl started talking again).

Okay, so the rest of the band, etc .. didnt knew about the plot of Axl and Slash getting back together, but at least Team Brazil have known about it. So they knew that Slash is eventually coming back and still shit-talking him, acting as if he is not welcomed etc .. at that time? Makes me wonder when the shit-talking stopped or if they maybe still talk shit behind his back ...

"I don't know exactly what went down between those two but I haven't met Slash, he hasn't been around and he's not really welcome in the camp since I've been around."

So if Slash wasnt welcomed in June 2015, then the reunion talks have to be later???

Reading this thread, it kinda surprises me that people are surprised that Duff is 'as greedy' as Axl, Slash and Izzy. Why are people surprised about that fact? I doubt anybody believed that Duff only got Axl and Slash back together because he wanted his friends to be happy again. It probably was a part of it, but the money was for sure a thing too. Couple of pages earlier someone quoted Duff saying that Izzy will never get his 25% back. Where does this quote come from?

Agree with both of you. Axl getting twice as much as Slash, even though Slash had a huge part in the success of GNR again, is like a slap in the face. If the numbers are true, then Slash really lowered him down to much less than he is worth .... i guess less money is better than no money

I just dont understand why Axl gets so much more than for example Slash and Duff. Is it because he is the owner of the bandname? Or does he work more than the rest? I hope those numbers are not true. Why should Axl get 50% and the rest - especially Slash and somehow also Duff - get so much less? Is it because Axl is considering himself the boss? Is he the person who says who will get how much? Or because he owns the band name? I just dont quite understand that, because it is not that Axl is doing more than Slash or Duff, regarding the band, and being onstage, etc ... so there should be a more equaly share than that. Plus people cant deny the fact, that Slash is a huge point that GNR is doing so well again.

But regarding Izzy, what if he would get the amount of money he wanted? What would have happened with Fortus? If Izzy comes back fulltime and Slash is fulltime there too, what should Fortus do? Playing the second rythmn guitar? there isn't need for that. Fortus leaving the band? Something Axl probably would not let have happened.

Sometimes its difficult to have someone as Manager who is so close as Beta is to Axl. She probably had good intentions to defend axl because she is like a mother to him. But its not the job of a Manager to defend their client via Instagram.

Didn`t Perla used to manage Slash too? And look at some of the poorly things she did, which was destroying Slashs carrer more than it helped him ...

Sometimes its better to seperate work and private things ...
