  1. hi yall

heading to the london show in only two weeks. i am so stoked for the forum. I am confused re PIT seat pricing...

All I see available are GA PIT 2 for $575 a pop. "Platinum Seats".. This is quite a bit more than I paid for choice Dodger stadium seats and the london golden circle early entry.

has anyone else purchased either PIT for the forum show? What did you pay?

Thanks in advance and can't wait!

You mean they will never go down as a band that barely released any music like GnR? You're right about that.

I don't know why some people here have such a problem with this guy speaking the truth. You guys act like he's talking about your family.

Why are you on this forum? It's breakfast time. Go to lars and get some vegan oat pancakes made by his fourth chef

Give me a break metallica is a genre act and nothing more

I dig them but the bitter shit they've put out to the media through the whole NITL tour is jealousy bc they know guns has less of a catalogue and STILL knocks them out

Thank you! :) I will try and see if I can get in. Will tickets sell fast for this show then? I would love to see them in their hometown.....hoping this works out.

Don't let all the presale hype scare you. Every show I've freaked out settling for less than perfect tickets. I swear if you wait and just buy them off Stubhub in a few months you'll get to pick EXACTLY what you want and likely spend the same you would to get 1) nighttrain membership 2) the ticket itself.

I really think your best move is to disregard the immediate hype and wait for the secondary markets to come online. We've got months before these shows.

  4. Something really hit a nerve with this guy and I think I can tell exactly what it is. Jealousy. The amount of venom and spite in his voice and face is laughable. Fuck this guy.

Anyone listen to Lars on Stern??? He has six men to "strech him out for three hours" on a table before each show and uhhh eats oat pancakes prepared by a chef.

Metallica is a great band with an amazing track record but they will NEVER go down in rock like GNR. And to trash talk GNR relentlessly says more about them than it does about Guns.

    What a tool.

  5. Hi guys -

There is lots of information floating around in various threads about the different pre sales happening for the shows announced today.

From what I have gathered (and I am NOT a source of real knowledge on this) there will be...Nightrain, Citi card holder, past ticket purchaser, and more pre sales.

If anyone has information regarding presales for any individual show please post it here so we can have one place to reference when trying to buy tickets.

Thanks all and I hope everyone is MASSIVELY disappointed by todays "huge" announcement

Or how about this? How many Soundgarden fans would love another album with Cornell? All of them I would guess. So while the advice to "enjoy it while it lasts" is all nice and cute, why can't the band create something that lasts? Why has it been 24 years since Axl and Slash released music together? Why has it been almost a decade since CD? The fact they are all still alive and refusing to make music together is a travesty.  One day one of them is going to die and we're all gonna wish they had released an album together instead of touring off nostalgia. Don't use Chris Cornell's death to justify GnR's incompetence or to tell fans to just be happy with this. The reason fans are mad is because we want more from and for these guys. We try to take pride in being a GnR fan and want them to be fucking awesome. We also want something to take with us that will last forever. Shows are fun but tour with a purpose at least. I mean even U2's current nostalgia tour has a very specific purpose. They released an incredible 30th anniversary boxset of The Joshua Tree and are touring the album and playing it in full in running order right now.  GnR's purpose seems to be nothing more than milking fans for their money while living off past glory. It's not what this band was about and it's not what they should be about. Unfortunately it IS what they are about. They do the absolute minimum and they even screw that up and in so many ways it really is a slap in the face to the fans like all of us here who support these guys day in and day out.

I agree with you BUT...Guns loves playing live...they are older now...there's only so many good years left. It breaks my heart to say it but I think they are making the most of the situation. They need to get the world domination out of their system. Only then will they risk making a new album and potentially tarnishing their history if it is critically panned. I'm with you though. It sucks.

My other thought is that Guns has two kinds of fans. Die hards like us that get the brunt and casual fans who would be happy to hear guns is coming close to them so they can actually attend a show. They did this for those fans, not us.

I'm happy. I mean I wanted to see them in an arena setting so this is perfect for me. Not coming to my area, but I am visiting family out West around Thanksgiving so the Vegas & 2 LA shows are the best options. Do you guys have any recommendations? I am figuring the Forum would be the best acoustic venue of the three, but will it sell out quick? Much appreciated! :)

Dude The Forum is on a whole other level than any arena in the US with Madison Square Garden as the exception. The history alone...GO TO THIS SHOW. Not only that but the venue was restored a couple years back and is AMAZING now. They have food from all the best local spots around LA, incredible drinks, it's just awesome. Staples is like a shitty amusement park.

    See you at The Forum!!!

Why the hell are people even attempting these presales? Did they learn nothing last year?

This announcement was a huge disappointment in almost every way. BUT I must point out that Guns playing The Forum is going to be beyond epic. Been a dream of mine to see them there for a long long time. Best venue in LA and they have a LOT of history there. I know surprises and perks to these shows will be coming. Now that they're stepping into the arena circuit they are going to have to have guests and surprises. If these arena shows don't sell as well as anticipated that's only going to add pressure to make sure they start to deliver special stuff to the fans.

Martin - could not agree more. Last year the "presales" were a joke. Logged on immediately after paying for the Nightrain "membership" (read scam) and no seats were avail. I settled for less than perfect only to find out that more PIT seats were released after the presale. Such a bummer.

I am going to STILL give Guns the benefit of the doubt and think that they don't actually know about what's happening to fans. I'm sure Ticketmaster or whoever is promoting keeps those issues far far away from them. Probably even spins it to them if they do ask saying "oh there's no way to prevent small mishaps" etc.

The fuck. Izzy if you are reading this it breaks my heart we won't get to see you. Fuck man.

  9. Just bought two golden circle early entry passes.  Regular golden were sold out. Surprise gift for my best friend growing up, GNR was all we jammed. He's never been to London so it will be double dope. Very stoked!!! ????????????????

Will also be in London next Saturday 12/17 to 12/22.

Anyone want a pint on me? Staying in Covent Garden but down to explore

    Cheers!

Welp.....guess we can start speculating on this:

Good intel....I wonder if the certain Slash fanatic on Instagram that proclaimed they were playing Rock In Rio next year has anything to back it up. So far nothing, just the insta post with a very real looking set of logos. I think it's bogus.

  11. I just bought two Golden Circle Early Entry passes to London for their second show (6/17/17). Also wondering what the technical difference is between early & regular Golden Circle. The part that sucks is that since I am US based I am unable to get tix via mail, have to get at box office. Don't want that to delay my entry and miss out on the extra $$$$ that I once again forked over (HAPPILY)!!!

  12. Hey guys!

so excited to attend this show. My best friend and I grew up on GNR so we're planning a whole trip around these shows (mainly MADRID!!)

i too am confused by seating. In US (been to three shows this year) there is always PIT 1 and PIT 2 available. I don't see any PIT options.

Do do you guys know if these exist, are sold out, or just not avail yet?

    thanks!

they also don't have any show booked as of yet for NYE on their calendar. Isn't it odd that at least somebody isn't playing???

I've called them a bunch over the past two weeks. One Joint rep told me there is going to be a show but it hasn't been announced yet. She had heard of the GNR rumor (probably from crazies like me calling and asking) and laughed and said all she knows is that there WILL be a show that night, but doesn't know who.

Hard Rock's fb page is responding to questions if GNR are playing NYE. They say"Not that we know of...but we are always the last to know" as of an hour ago.

I got shat on the last time I posted about a secret NYE show at The Joint Hard Rock Vegas. The argument was that it's no arena so why would they do it. It would be an intimate show for a crowd that loves them and they have played NYEs there before. To back up the rumor...

As NoMansLand says above, Hard Rock is playing tongue and cheek with the "concert"

If you check out Truth, they point out that they're doing the same on their social media posts. Hashtaging the hotel as #ParadiseCity as of last week.

    http://gnrtruth.proboards.com/thread/5983/on-hard-rock

The most telling piece of the puzzle....there's a Ticketmaster link with the CURRENT gnr logo that you can find by clicking below. Would this logo have been auto updated from their last show there?  That's the spankin' new logo.

    http://www.ticketmaster.com/guns-n-roses-the-joint-at-hard-rock-las-vegas-nv/venueartist/360450/735218

So before everyone destroys me for posting, there is enough to lend itself a "rumor" that they may play a show there.

Evidence that says this is the opposite - slash did post a thanks to Mexico/Latin america after their last show that said something along the lines " thanks for making the last concert of 2016 a great one." Also the shows I've been to at Hard Rock over the past year have all been ticketed through Axs, not Ticketmaster. I don't know how that really works but is worth mentioning.

Obviously I have my fingers crossed ten times over.

We already have more places with billboards in them today like saskatoon and el paso I wouldn't put faith in anyone posting legit actual tour dates just yet

Yeah I should have been more clear. The listed locations are places that have substantiated rumors behind them. Does not rule out any other North American location - would be very strange if they only played a handful of NA gigs.

They should do NYE at Barclays Center in Brooklyn if they were to play NY. Kanye West canceled and I'm sure they're looking to rebook. Don't think there's enough time for that though lol

That would make sense, but seems a bit second rate for them to fill a cancelled venue. I'm all for it.

I just spoke with the Hard Rock in Vegas. They couldn't and wouldn't confirm any GNR NYE show but did confirm there WILL be a show on NYE and it has not been announced.  This is a change from last couple of weeks where they've been saying they do not have anything scheduled and have no idea if something will get set for that night. FINGERS CROSSED ?
