Frank is my least favourite GNR drummer, but the worst thing about him is his drum sound, not necessarily his playing. But if they're gonna edit/quantize the drums on the studio songs like they did with Hard Skool, it doesn't really matter who's drumming anyway.

 

 

2016 was a good year but no way was it better than 2006 or 2010 unless you're counting AC/DC, and that's because he was pushing himself to his limits. I can see the comparison to 2006 because he had a good balance of clean and raspy vocals with GNR, but 2010 was by far his best year since the UYI tour IMO.

I'm probably in the minority who thought his vocals in 2010 weren't that good 🤷‍♂️ they worked on some songs but for the most part they made songs too harsh vocally

Out of interest where has it been confirmed that the Dublin show is where Axl got his sore throat from? It was hardly any different to any other show this year 🤷‍♂️

Let's hope the damage vocal chords were minor from a throat infection or something that's mild and the DR'S have given Axl the all clear and the tour continues smoothly 🤞💪

Hopefully it's just a sore throat which has affected his chords which will heal up with a few days rest

Hard Skool is defo popular live, got a great reception live at the start and the end in London 1st night. It got a better reception than CD and Better

Wasn't Kat sick with a bug before the tour kicked off? Maybe Axl has caught the tail end of this which has caused his throat to go sore etc. We could be back to the norm on Tuesday now 

Rumours are going around that Axl suffered a panic attack last night? 

IF true, I hope he's alright. As much as we all say we want Axl to sing in his low voice all the time (I don't personally) a singer having vocal.issues is incredibly tough mentally 

Axl last night sounded great (at the  venue) hopefully tonight is just from a genuine sore throat/cold and we'll be back to normal next show
