I'm thinking about recording audio of the show in Regina in 3 nights on an old iPhone. Does anyone have advice on what app I could download that would work good for a 3 hour recording?

Are the posters sold in the merch trailer before the show?
I'm told there is a limited quantity there yes.

Can anyone confirm that the official GnR merchandise trailers outside the Canadian venues accept credit cards? I want to go down for 1 pm and buy my litho and come back home prior to the show and drop it off.

Actually maybe it represents a big male mule deer mounting a female black bear... 😂😂😂

Maybe the dragon one is inspired by the gargoyles that are on the Parliament?
The panther teeth also feature in the date part of the one t shirt too?
Have we established that it's a panther or a bear and whether that is in fact a set of antlers on its head?

Haven't the acoustics in that cavernous building always sucked even with reno? Not sure if they would be better with the roof open but I assume so. Probably tough to do that with forest fire smoke though unless it's gone now.

Credit to @Black Sabbath for posting these in the Official Merchandise thread. Cross posting for reference:

I don't know what bears and dragons have to do with our nation's capital Ottawa. Just my opinion and somewhat of a question...

Just fought through that zoo of a merch stand... are there normally 2 posters per show?
I saw the bear one above which I don't understand and then in the official merchandise thread in saw the one with the dragon and the Parliament buildings. I don't really understand that one either in terms of the dragon. What do bears and dragons have to do with our nation's capital?

What's the capacity for concerts? Anyone know the sales for this one?
I would say 40K capacity if I were to guess when looking at the map and there's a couple thousand unsold.

I'm so fucking stoked for this. Never thought I'd see Slash and Axl together, let alone live and in person.
I work somewhat in the area. Debating leaving early to try and check out soundcheck if there's any way to determine roughly what time that all goes down at.
Not sure but I think mid afternoon-ish based on what I've seen in various social media posts? Somewhere in that 2 pm to 3 pm range???

None of the stadium's coming up in Canada are "B rate" stadiums.
Ottawa is only about 2 years old, Winnipeg is 3 years old, Regina is brand new, and a massive renovation was completed in Vancouver recently.
Winnipeg - Investor's Group Field
Regina - Mosaic Stadium
Edmonton - Commonwealth Stadium
Vancouver - BC Place Stadium

Interesting that the stadiums are a lot smaller this time around, I guess that's why they call them "secondary markets". Have they played all the mega stadiums in the States and these are just the next rung down?
These ones don't even have four sides.
Ottawa is a bit of a smaller stadium. Winnipeg and Regina are quite a bit bigger in comparison and Edmonton and Vancouver are massive.

That area behind the pit sure looks like it will turn into a mudhole quick when thousands of people show up. I'm curious to know how they wouldn't have cleaned that up a bit.

I love that kind of 60s comic book Rat Fink art, so I like it. But does anyone know how it pertains to Montreal? Detroit was obvious. I like it but don't get it...
Well that's definitely Olympic Stadium that the alien is ripping apart, which was where the concert was held 25 years ago that ended in the riot. As for the tires not sure... I believe there is an indy race in Montreal every year.

The Regina, Saskatchewan show is around 85% sold out with about 6000 seats remaining of 37700. Our city has a population of about 220K. But we are a hard rock city and this is the first music event announced for our brand new stadium.

No clue. I didn't mean to sound like I was siding with them. I was puzzled as to why they were saying it.
Sorry friend. I knew that and wasn't saying you were. It's just weird was my point
Prices in Regina actually went up. Never seen that in my life actually. On the floor only the $250 tickets now are $275 and the $150 tickets are now $165. Plus fees.

They ran a story on this on Detroit rock radio today. They were going on about how they can't believe we're not getting a Detroit date this year.
Well not a single US city got a second leg show so I guess it's not surprising. Why would Detroit think they are so deserving?

I did a quick count for the show in my home city of Regina, SK. I was told capacity is 37700 and there is a approximately 6000 seats left including VIP which means the show is 85% sold out already. This is a city that only has a population of around 220K with another city Saskatoon, SK being two hours away at 240K. Also with Winnipeg at 6 hours away at 700K+ and Edmonton at 1.1M+ both getting shows means little old Regina is doing pretty good. Mind you we have always supported Stadium shows in Regina as we have had Rolling Stones (back to back shows), AC/DC, Bon Jovi and Kid Rock, and Paul McCartney here at the old stadium. Now we have a brand new stadium to welcome GnR.
-
The Regina, SK show will be about 38000 give or take...

Video here gives a pretty good idea of the pit size... It's big I guess...

Any good aerial shots of US stadium pits?
Found this from Toronto. Pits look real small from the picture. I guess it's a weird picture though as its a panoramic shot.

I'm not sure what the litho represents but it's cool.
Also I think the band is going to be loving the next couple shows.
Winnipeg and Regina are rock n roll cities...
Our stadiums are sweet too although I'm biased to mine here in Regina as it's literally brand new.
