    TWAT

Does anyone remember the name of the track that was almost on the "What Dreams May Come" Robin Williams movie? Was it TWAT?

    TWAT

Fucking amazing! I didn't get what everyone was talking about while hearing the first couple minutes (I read the replies while waiting for ti to dl'd)....might grow on me, but still after that point it's awesome. Can see how wes said it sounds like the garden (for the first part) and like estranged as everyone has mentioned for the latter portion.

Either way, I really hope that the full version of Better leakes soon.....and I'm very confident it will. I had almost lost hope that TWAT and that would leak after mangement clamped down yesterday, but with this leak Better should be forthcoming.

  1. Why would I want to do that? If I went to a show, I'd want to hear all the classics and new stuff as I had known them with minor deviation, I don't want to hear a completely re-written piece. If you'll note, most of Finck's solo's are the same for the duration of the tour.

I agree completly. Why not get a session guitarist? Probably because 4 songs or so played are HIS songs..and on upcoming shows I'm sure that number will increase. SO why not have him play the songs how the person who wrote them intended it, and let him improvise with his own stuff.

  2. I like madagascar with the speeches, it's puts more feel and meaning to the song I think. and then when the speeches finish and then Axl voices comes on with I won't be told anymore, I love that.

I love that part too....when Brain's drumming really kicks in and Axl starts to sing again...gives me shivers every time.

  3. Wow...this is cool. After hearign Bat Country a couple times I remember thinking a)it's a great song and this band has alot of potential and B) This has a big GNR feel and influence to it...if this song is big and being requested by alot of different radio stations, I'm sure the new GNR cd will be popular.

This thread just made me want to check out their other stuff even more...

  4. Howard Stern HATES Axl.

    God.

    Source?

:P I seem to remember a thread talking about the show praising him and Guns...they've touched on him going a little batty a few times..but I don't see that as hate. If your referring to the "no show" someone mentioned from the early 90's..Im sure Stern could give two shits about that now...he's forgiven and forgotten far worse things than that,

  5. Pretty Tied up is exactly like you described, and was 13 IIRC. The Don't Cry is the black case with silver Guns N' Roses written on it, and was 8. The Civil War single was 15.

Those are fair prices. Not a great deal, but not a rip off either. If you want them for the packaging and collectibility, then buy them(if they are not all bent up acd creased with scratched CD's. For music only purposes- just buy the Don't Cry =the demo version is very good- as you've probably heard.

I own all of the music on them, it would noly be for display, colletibility, etc. I wasn't aware that the Don't Cry single was the demo version...since it's the cheapest I'll prolly pick that one up for sure now.

  6. If they are the promo singles, with the exception of Civil War , Assuming they are opened and in good condition.  From $5-8 each.  More than that, you may be able to find elsewhere.  All 3 of those are pretty easy to find if you try.  Pretty Tied up is probably the most collectible- if it has the twine around the package.  If the Don't Cry is in a black cardboard case with a shiny silver sleeve, that is fairly rare.  If it is a jewel case with a picture of the corner of a room, it's not that rare.

  7. Does anyone know how rare (or what the worth is) of the following GN'R singles?:

    Civil War Limited Edition

    Pretty Tied Up

    Don't Cry

My local Music Recyclery has them, and they seemed pretty pricey, but if the prices are the norm I might go back and get them.
