@purplestargirl welcome back
So sorry to hear about your loss, losing a parent is the worst.
Thanks Jani! I see you're now a moderator. That's awesome.
And yeah, losing a parent is very tough and I wish no one has to go through it.

Wow, I truly sorry about that!
My condolences to you and yeah, I know what is like to lose important people in your life..... Takes quite some time but surely, you'll recover, it just takes some time...I wish you all the luck with the job hunting! That's also something that takes time sometime but the positive is that IT field is on demand so hopefully, you'll land something soon.
Fingers crossed for you!
Thanks. Also I have a good therapist so eventually it won't feel weird anymore.

I remember you!!!
How are you? What you been up to?
I'm doing better. My dad actually passed away at the end of April and I'm just starting to adjust to it. Grief is a weird state of mind. Also I've been job hunting in the IT field so hoping something comes up for that.

So the usual, I presume.
I actually had some computer problems and had to do some reinstallation and never bothered to log on here because I forgot the password when I was using Ubuntu (Linux). Also the boys have been very quiet in my opinion.

2 days until SMKC!
Job hunting right now. Well, I have been job hunting. And thanks.

Wow, I've definitely missed a lot and no...I can't remember if the last time I was on here was before my college graduation and trip to Seattle.
That's pretty bad and I probably need to rifle through a lot of pages to catch up.

More blackmail than beating his girlfriends into hospital and rape charges (that have been dropped later)? Don’t really think so.
That's not blackmail material since everyone knows about that. Maybe there's something someone else knows that only they and Axl know....that's what I'm talking about.
Or maybe he's on time because he doesn't want to lose Slash and Duff again.

Yeah, that bit surprised me, too. The more I hear about Axl the less I understand how the others could ever stand working with him. Yes he’s the greatest singer and frontman of his time but what a pain in the ass...
And what’s even more surprising: HOW does Axl manage to be punctual all the bloody NITL tour?
LOL. Love that expression
Someone's got blackmail material on him?

Hmm... Not that I want to come off as defending Susan but I will... 😂
I mean, that St. Patrick festivity is been appropriated by other cultures and nations that have nothing to do with Ireland..... Even places like my country "celebrate" the St. Patrick day and unfortunately it is not because people here give a damn about Ireland but because they only care about beer and drinking like there's no tomorrow.
So saying that Susan is boasting some vicarious Irish pride is to be unaware of what the rest of the world does every year..... And with this Im not saying she's less of a "poser", as you portray her, but if I have to think of the people around me who also pose for this calendar date, I'd say they win Susan by far.
Now the Erin goes brahless thing is...weird... to say the least. I wonder if Duff explained to her these things. I dont know. Susan was not there like Meegan. Im not sure how much she knows about it.
Now that was me be ditzy in regards to the Irish pride thing. I apologize for that. Also I know some people who have Irish ancestry that despise St. Patrick's Day but that's a whole nother topic on why. I'm not one of them; one of my maternal great-great grandmothers was an Irish immigrant from Dublin and my biological maternal grandfather is one quarter Irish because of that as it was his maternal grandmother. I think it was Someone posted that whole family history online and I happened to run across it. But anyways, moving back on topic.
If anything, Duff should explain to her how tagging Axl's past spouses is not appropriate as neither of those relationships turned out well. He was there too so that's my reasoning on that. The whole "Erin go braghless" sounds like it was a bad joke and I don't think it had anything to do with Erin Everly. Someone, however, decided to tag her on that video when I'm certain Su had no intention of making a reference there. I also recall Duff saying there are things he refuses to tell his wife regarding Guns' past so I am not certain on how much she knows about it either.

The only wildlife I see around my apartment are the birds that fly up to the bird feeder. My asshole of a cat like to chase them away.
4 hours ago, MillionsOfSpiders said:I think her and Duff were given Irish passports not long ago but it seems to be just Duff who has the Irish roots and family who live there.
I think it's funny when people claim Irish pride when they don't seem to have Irish roots. I knew about Duff's Irish roots because it was found that his maternal grandparents were Irish immigrants to the States and he talked about being at a family get-together in Ireland in his autobiography. One of his Irish aunts had made a comment about him drinking too much at the time when she was drunker than he was. Irish pride via marriage, I guess?
3 hours ago, killuridols said:Haha yes Susan is always putting foot in mouth with these things! The other time she tagged Stephanie in some #gnrwomen hashtag
Sounds like she's coming off as ditzy in these situations when she is definitely not ditzy at all. Just my observation.

(Wrong flag though lol!)
Does she have Irish ancestry? Just curious is all. I know Duff does.
I probably should watch the video. I was wondering about the "braghless" part of that and didn't get the joke.

UH HUH OKAY, here you go @Tori72
And as a huge fan of certain disbanded acts yourself, you'll know how that feels. Did you ever see Led Zeppelin?
I didn't. Not even the reunion show, which pissed me off. So yeah, I can relate to that. And I would like those kids to see a decent version of Guns. If it was the original line-up it could be great. But I won't do it if it's going to be Axl and his merry men going on-stage three hours late. Straighten that one out and then call me. No cancelled dates. No sitting in one airport in one city when you're supposed to be on-stage in another.
No kilts?
(Laughing) No, the kilt can stay. I always liked the kilt. I wasn’t so sure about the white leather ensemble...

Slash, did you like the kilt because it was easy access or something? Or did Axl just look good in it?

It's a fanny pack. We can move on
I know And she knows I love her, but I felt the need to defend the 'rojo pantalones'. Shit, I love the rojo pantalones
Girl, I am a native portuguese speaker, this discussion would have been worst if the rojo pantalones were a portuguese gramar mistake It would be 'calças vermelhas', wich means the noun is coming before the adjective and both the adjective and the noun would be plural and feminine
You know that I understand what you are saying, our languages are the same about this grammar part and I'm a fluent portuñol speaker, afterall BUUUUT...Don't take the rojo pantalones away from me!!! I laughed out loud on the Izzy's Thread when this came out exactly because I knew it was incorrect but sounded so nice. Poor BorderlineCrazy explained the grammar incongruity, but we just decided to go with it Promise me you're gonna turn a blind eye here and let me have my beloved rojo pantalones You can rename his PANTALONES AMARILLOS, if it makes you feel better
Axl's fanny pack very nice looking.
Also, portuguese looks very intimidating to learn.

I know I'm the worst of teachers but there's no other way to learn!!
SACRILEGE, BLASPHEMY!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!!
I can give you ROJOS PANTALONES if you want to go with the "it's all about how it sounds" but precisely, for that SAME REASON , ROJOS PANTALONES would be the right way to SOUND!
If you don't pronounce the S you are sounding like a no-tongue muddafuckka , like a someone with a potato in their mouths, like the hillbilly that just arrived to town!
---
What would you say if I changed it to "Calzas Vermellas"???
Huh? What do you mean by "they"?
Yes, in Spanish all objects have a "gender". Unfortunately.
Adjectives also have to go with the gender of the subject.
You can't say PANTALONES ROJAS.
"They" by those who don't know Spanish very well. Sorry for the confusion.

Love that part.
@killuridols Do they understand masculine vs. feminine in Spanish? Start applying that to clothing items and their color.

The adjective becomes plural if the subject is plural.
omg I'm a grammar demon
forgive meeeeeeeeNot just Spanish. French and Italian too. I'm pretty sure that rule is for all the romance languages.

In Spanish the adjective goes after the subject, in English is the contrary
Umm... well, now I'm not sure they are the same pantalones looks like a different fabric....

Yes, it’s Izzy. He sounds much younger and his voice is less hoarse. They were all only 22/23 then
I personally like Izzy's softer, hoarser voice.

So that's Izzy doing all the talking? He sounds a bit different than other interviews where I've heard him speak.

I can't be the only one who's wondering why Izzy isn't responding to Alan Niven's claims. Are they true or not, Mr. Stradlin? You've got curious fans and I know you read this forum.
