It looks fake to me. Didn't Izzy tweet last year that he didn't have a facebook page? I think if he had opened a page he would've announced it on twitter or something.

I forgot about the Art Tavana thing. He really went and listend to those tapes? I need to re-read his article again. I came across Art on several podcast related with Guns n Roses. Art said he likes the non-political correctness of Guns n Roses and the sex. Lol. Sounds like a 12 year old to me enjoying sexist slurs. But whatever. To me he comes across as a guy with a strategy: He wants to write a book about GnR. Which is fine by me if he sticks to the facts, is transparent about his research methods and actually has talked to the guys themselves. I liked his "write like a historian"-post in our thread but I dislike many of his tweets. We won't be best buddies. Lol
Anyway, have you guys seen this pic? Izzy looks like an alien here. His face reminds me of someone but I don't know who - or what.
yes i had seen it in previous months!

Axl is great, I witnessed that myself this summer in concert. But he was at his best like all of the members of the classic lineup - when they were together. I know that they have parted ways and that's something we just have to except. But I don't believe for a second that Axl would have made as far as he did without the others (and obviously they also had a lot of luck.)
I was trying to be polite (and leave those out of my post ). But I think that I've seen them mostly elsewhere online, no so much in this forum.
(THB, I've posted few Mickey Mouse pics here myself too )
I agree completely with you my friend I saw them too this summer. The original line up was the best it was the right time the right place and the right guys.

Alan called him Axl.
I have to admit, some fans in this forum have given Axl pretty interesting nicknames. (such as world's most dangerous pianist, Mickey Mouse or the "singer".) If you think about it, quite a lot of shit gets thrown at him here. And this is a Gn'R fan forum...
no matter what happened in the past, axl is a great perfomer and a great songwriter.

the truth is that these songs are Identified with izzy everybody knows that!i don't know if axl decides alone for the songs but i think that they try to avoid complaints about izzy. i Hope he is writing new stuff

I quite liked the first Mick Wall Axl book, it was really good up until he falls out with Axl and then the bias starts, but you can tell it's written that way. The second one is shit, much worse than the first.
I threw my copy of the second into the recycling bin - bye bye!! Still got my original.
Not a fan of Watch You Bleed either, to be honest.
Slash's book, Reckless Road and the picture books are all good. Didn't read all of Duffs book due to the sheer boredom of it and Adlers is just, well, Adler!
The rest belong in the recycling bin with Mick Walls revised Axl reunion cash in.
it's going to be realesed a new book with the name the life and times of rock n roll band, in this month and it seems intersting

No you're not wrong but I found his books very interesting because he was there, with them.I think his Axl book angered fans because it was biased but i haven't read it in years so i don't remember much about that one.
The 1st Mick Wall book for writing and Robert John for pictures
thanks a lot!

Izzy goes to the kitchen and prepares some drinks and stays there with his friends making himself very comfortable while Slash tells Mick that he's not in the mood for company. The next day Mick calls Slash on the phone and asks if Izzy is still there and Slash says "Oh, man!"
i think that izzy was looking for a booze, this is mentioned and in this book!hahahaha
