  1. is anyone going to Bon Jovi, I never saw them and I like their music but the Ticket prices are ridiculous and Jons vocal performances are probably worse than axl these days.. so should i stay or should I go?

so far I'm only gonna see Slash in february, I want to save my money for a possible ACDC tour

  2. i dont think its gonna happen, but imo jeff gutt the current STP frontman could handle the vocal part quite well... and at least I would love some VR with a decent frontman, even just for a couple of shows, now that axl is losing his voice faster than ever and SMKC being not my cup of tea (just sounds all the same imo)
VR was really great and i think with an easier to handle frontman it could be fun at some point

Attending the show this coming Sunday. Seeing all these vids kinda kills the excitement. Fuck! Thank God theres another show before mine... hope he uses it as another rehearsal. No offense @tifalucis.

no need to be not excited.. i saw the show the week after berlin and still had a great time, saw them 3 times in 2018, every show was awesome!

Wow that Nightrain is a car crash. Definitely no trip to Hawaii for me :D

I'll save the cash for next years Stones shows. im not a big Jagger fan, but fucking hell the guys voice is at least mostly consistent and not the mickey Axl is throwing our way.

How can there be such a difference between AXL/DC and this.

and jagger is in his mid 70s
I saw the stones this year in Berlin just 3 weeks after the GNR disaster, they were mindblowing, their energy at this age after the lifestyle they lived is simply incredible

I don't think 2017 shows were really better than 2018 shows like in Tallin or Moscow

the late US run which led up to the forum show in late november was pretty good, way above european the europe or SA shows, i didnt see much of a difference between europe 2017 and 2018 (apart from berlin), but his mid range seemed weaker, but i'm scared that this late 2018 run could be the worst he ever sounded and that he's not gonnna recover from the damage he did to his voice over NITL and Axl/DC

    Axl.

As far as other elements go, the Steel Panther drummer shits all over Chris Slade during this song.  He plays it properly and Chris Slade plays it like it's a jingly Christmas remix.

thank you sir. i couldnt stand Slades playing on the ROB tour, the hi hat constantly sounded shit and he never had the right feeling for the songs. I missed Phil more than Malcolm during the tour

  7. i know we had this setlist discussion over and over but i still dont get why the fuck he decides to put himself and the band and the audience through 3,5 hours of pain if he could just play for 2 hours just like all the other bands out there and put on a better show...
The first couple of songs are always great (jungle is solid but not too bad most of the times), live and let die and slither are the last songs of the 1st listenable part
then we have RQ, YCBM, TIL, Civil War and Coma, even thinking of all those songs played back to back and imagining axl trying to sing them makes me cringe.. i'd cut probably all of them (maybe except CW) and throw probably another duff song in ... then we have the boring section including 3 hours guitar solo, SCOM, 1,5 hours of instrumental shit before NR, some covers here and there and all this leads to the 10 min KOHD.. i know SCOM and NR are classics and probably 3/4 of the audience is there to hear those 2 songs, but if I had to choose I would cut them as well and put some songs easier to sing and easier to listen to in there. nightrain is always a relief for me, it doesnt make u fall asleep and axl often sounds decent.. Im quite happy with the encore, patience is a classic and sounds good same with dont cry, maddy is my favorite song off CD (even though they dont always play it), the seeker is a great straight rock number that suits axls voice, and of course you have to end with PC
I know this is not a setlist thread but if I could choose a set for them even just for one show it would be like this:

    1. ISE
    2. Brownstone
    3. CD
    4. Jungle
    5. DTJ
    6. Dont Cry
    7. Slither
    8. SOYL
    9. Attitude (Duff on vocals)
    10. So Fine/Dust n Bones (Duff on vocals)

    Acoustic Part:

    11. You Aint The First
    12. KOHD (short version)
    13. Patience

    14. Pretty Tied UP
    15. LALD
    16. Maddy
    17. OTGM/Michelle
    18. Slash guitar solo (max 5 mins!!!!!!!!)
    19. Nightrain

    Encore:

    20. Estranged
    21. Seeker
    22. PC

The whole era was "vocally choppy" – would it have been really thought through, they would have released something from 2010.

As for Coachella, when you think about it, it would not be a bad choice. I mean, you can’t get anything better (vocally) anyway, can you.

Also, who says it has to be from a single show? Ministry released Sphinctour in 2002, which was an amalgam of ca 1996 gig recordings, and it was fucking awesome.

I don't think the should release the coachella show.. Axl running around the stage is a big part of their show, the shows always lacked something even though the vocals were great

Imo a show from the 2016 NA leg would be great (Houston would be the best) or a show from NA 2017,where the vocals were solid as well

On the video title it says its fake so :shrugs:

There's a big discussion going on in the ACDC forum about that

The video was made by one of the users, he just took the Google drive sound file and put it up on YouTube, so it's not made by the one who recorded the audio, which was somewhere on Twitter i think

For me it's hard to say whether it's fake or not

Wholeheartedly agree with this.  Let's get some keep cuts that are easier on Axl's voice and trade out some others.  Pretty Tied Up, Locomotive, You Ain't The First, Don't Damn Me (play this song finally!) and yes Duff needs to break out So Fine.  Axl doesn't even need to do his vocal parts on So Fine, just leave it all to Duff.

agree with every song except dont damn me, how the hell is he supposed to handle that song these days :D they never played it because its nearly impossible, you simply don't have time to breathe and these days he struggles with his breathing on nearly every song

Just a guess but i'd say 'no'

I'd also guess that unless Axl shows up for rehearsals/soundchecks we'll never get anything new

Well, usually he shows up before the first show, at least he did that in Berlin and the result was the worst show of the tour :D but that was of course due to lack of preparation
