I like some of their songs, but they are definately not the best band on the planet.
-
Nightrain, Rocket Queen or Dead Horse.
-
Angus Young Signature SG:
I've wanted this since I first started playing.
-
The intro to Dead Horse is really easy since it just uses some simple power chords.
-
Those were actually really good.
-
So this is not the real way to play the intro WITH delay
E|-----------------------------|-----------------------------|
B|-----------------------------|-----------------------------|
G|---4-------4---------4-4-4---|--4--4-2--2-----------------:|
D|-----------------------------|------------4--4-2--2--0----:|
A|-----------------------------|--------------------------2--|
E|-----------------------------|-----------------------------|
\--------only once----------/ \----repeat this 2 times----/
its this with delay
|------------------------------------------------
|----0-------0--------0--------0--------0----0-
|-4----4--2----2--------------------------------
|-------------------4----4---2----2--0----------
|-------------------------------------------2-----
|-------------------------------------------------
I've always just played the top first tab with delay, but that's not the real way to play the intro?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Sorry if I confused you, the intro I posted is how to play the delayed notes without a delay pedal, which is what Slash did in concert.
Thanks Slash 2004! I agree, I think that's the most accurate way to play it without a pedal. You pretty much do the same thing I do. Any idea on the DD3 though? Because the way we do it is fine for the first six times, but then he picks each note three times instead of two and you have more of a chance to screw up on stage......Do you play in a band? If so, what do you guys play? Later.......A.F.I.-Slash<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Sorry I'm not sure about the DD3 because I don't have one, and I don't play in a band, but for picking the notes 3 times each i find it really easy to play like this:
|-------------------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------------------
|-4-4--4--2-2-2---------------------------------
|-------------------4-4-4--2-2-2--0-0-0--------
|--------------------------------------------2--0-
|--------------------------------------------------
I hope this helps!

I pick the delayed notes too because I think thats what Slash did in concert.
This is how I play it:
|------------------------------------------------
|----0-------0--------0--------0--------0----0-
|-4----4--2----2--------------------------------
|-------------------4----4---2----2--0----------
|-------------------------------------------2-----
|-------------------------------------------------
Hopefully the tab is easy to read!

Do any of you have bad days, when everything you play sounds like shit, and you can't think of any creative stuff?? It happens to me sometimes.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
That happens to me a lot too, especially with Welcome to the Jungle. Sometimes I play it perfectly, sometimes I mess up the intro, and the solos.

AC/DC!!!!
for the same reasons as highvoltageacdc
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Same here.
-
A few days ago I learned the solo for Nightrain but haven't learned anything since.
-
I like a few songs, but I can't say I'm a huge fan though. They are still pretty good though.
-
If you want something easy then I suggest Dead Horse. The intro is some simple power chords, and the verse is just a blues riff. The solo isn't too hard either.
-
I have an Epiphone SG (which is very similar to a Gibson ) and a Fender Telecaster, and I like the tone better on the SG and find it easier to play.
-
I've never seen the old band, but I hope to see the new band when they go on tour again.
-
I liked it. Good job.
-
Sweet Child O' Mine or November Rain
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Agreed.
-
Sounds awesome! Keep up the good work!
-
It was pretty good, and you have a good voice, but I agree with Binge_and_Slash that it sounded like you were being forced to sing it. Otherwise it was not bad.
-
That was awesome! Very well done.
-
One Way Street.
-
Foo Fighters.
-
AC/DC. B)
-
It's almost exactly the same!
-
I can play all of Sweet Child O' Mine except for a few bits in the solo on the guitar, and I can play part of the intro to November Rain on the piano.
Best rock bands..
