on the radio bootleg, Duffs backgroundvocals are loud. Do they fixed it?
I can't compare to the bootleg but the backing vocals do not stand out at all.

Duff's bass is LOUD on the KOHD from Rio!
-
Ok Sail Away Sweet Sister from Paris is only 1:09 long and doesn't include the Bad Time part. I assumed it would be the whole intro prior to SCOM. LOL. Fail.

These are out in the wild now too for those that care. At least all audio is.

GD Civil War sounds amazing. Should never have been left off LE.

Great question, I'd be keen to know if they are compressed more, or like the MFSL release?
I am not even listening to them on YT because they are compressed anyway. Can't make a fair evaluation from lossy audio. Based on my experience with most remasters though I doubt they will be an improvement on the original vinyl or MOFI releases.

For the people who are listen Las Vegas already. For comparison with Tokyo. I'm not talking about the sound quality, it's top notch. I'm asking about the overall performances. Is Axl performances better and more talkative? He seems tired and voice sounds strained in Tokyo. I hope he is more fired on Las Vegas
It could be recency bias and I havent listen to Tokyo in a long time but to my ears Axl sounds better in LV.
I know I was never that impressed with Tokyo even when it was first released but these tracks sounds amazing to me.

Yeah Slash is higher than I would prefer but based on his comments in the past about rhythm guitar I wouldn't be surprised if he demanded it lol.

I'm curious to hear Rocket Queen.
I have listened to this like 5 times already. So much better than LE. Slash talks a bit more, actual rhythm guitar and original vocals (which may be good or bad depending on how you feel about the 99 overdubs, lol).

So do the songs on Live Era have the same overdubs or are they the original tracks?
No overdubs. These are totally remixed from the master tracks.

Oh man Don't Cry with Shannon...RIP. Just beautiful.

lol. They are not posted in order and there is no way to do a playlist. Some songs are missing too at least for me. I cannot find Don't Cry from Ritz.

Pretty Tied Up from the Ritz is great. It will be even greater to watch it on video.
I just listened to this and agreed. I am not listening in order just jumping around. On SCOM now.

But the mix on these new tracks is better than Live Era so for me these are superior in every way.

Plus Yesterdays was released as a single b-side without overdubs

"This is a little baby of mine called...Estranged"
So fucking great. May not be perfect but it is RIGHT. If anyone could prefer Live Era after hearing these versions, I just can't understand.
This release just shows how bad LE is in retrospect.

They need to release the full Paris and London shows ASAP!

Why the fuck it took 30 years to get these recordings is so frustrating.

how are the vocals? was this so bad, that he needs to re-recording his vocals?
Personally I do not think they needed re-recording. But I like imperfect vocals live. Makes it more real and enjoyable. I much prefer this version.

Listening to NR from Paris, man the mix is fantastic. So much better than every one of the dozens of bootleg versions that I obtained over the years.
If they cannot release the actual video if there are any rights issues (video and audio often have different rights and contracts regarding releases when a 3rd party broadcasts something), I wish they would release the whole show in audio so some of the talented fans out there can work their magic on a dub from the best available video source.
Would be a whole new experience. At least for me. It will never happen but ahhh to dream.
