well, some of my friends think im a freak for this, but if one string breaks, i replace them all. just something iv always done.

if your looking for what strings are best for you, you need to try different brands and sizes. i love playing on dadarreros 10's but i love the sound of ernie ball power slinkys and or ernie ball's classic rock regular slinkys

catcher is the one that needs the most work. better, irs, and twat all feel great and feel done.i can understand how some people dont like twat because its complex. its the same as people who dont like breakdown, locomotive, ect. irs feels done, it could be worked with a little as far as seperation between channels, but it feels complete. better, if you put that on the final cd, id be happy. it sounds totally done and ready to ship. some people wont like the song because there is a lot of experimetation on it, ut i love it and am looking forward to hearing a live version(yeah, im one of those people who are addicted to the live era, i love hearing music live rather than studio, it seem so much more magical.)

MTV Story On Weiland/Rose Feud

well, its offical, MTV are covering the gnr/vr feud (i cant believe im saying that). axl needs to take this free publicity and use it to his advantage now.

One of my many supporters on the group has asked me to compare what has happened to Motley Crue to that of G'n'R. Now, Crue were huge back in the day and like the five original Gunners, the band was made up of four distinct A-type personalities that the fans instantly related to and loved as a complete UNIT! Now, when it all went tits up in Crue - the band hired a new singer and released arguably their best record with John Corabi on vocals (even Tommy and Nikki acknowledge this). However, the record bombed and the tour went so bad that they had to fund it out of their own pockets and go from arenas to theaters. Now, with only one original gunner left, Axl, the question is, no matter how good CD might turn out to be, will the fans not accept the stand-ins and then some time later demand the original guys to reform as they did with Crue?

As a footnote - the Motley Crue original member tour is third in popularity/box-office to only U2 and Rolling Stones in 2005!

god damnit man, would you fucking give up. every fucking post you make is dissing axl and the new band, saying that they will never get anywhere without the old members. well look at your setting. i doubt that there is one person here (other than you) that doesnt want to hear the new stuff. bottom line

i love it. each song shows the pain and heartache of axl's life. they each show how he has matured from a kid who left home and said fuck you to the life he was born into, to a man who has been fucked over by nearly everyone he has ever loved or trusted.

axl need to smile more in pics. it makes him look a lot better. in every other pic he looks pissed

your not going to get around november rain, wttj, and paradise city. they are the most widely known songs and people will want to hear them. i dont want to hear them anymore. id rather he pull out songs that the new band has not played live(who here wouldnt want to hear the new band on estranged?). i have a feeling that we will get a bunch of old songs with the songs from the 2002 tour and a couple of new ones(better, irs, maybe twat)

well, around the release of the GH, i didnt really listen to music. i hadnt found anything that was "me". a friend of mine let me borrow his GH album, and about 5 seconds into Welcome To The Jungle, i was hooked, by my 30th listining to Civil War, i was totally addicted. i leeched on here for quite a while untill i finally signed up, and here i am. its because of GNR that i play the guitar now, its becuase of GNR that im a classic rock fan, and its because of GNR that i am despertly waiting for Chinese Democracy
