This weekend i saw a movie that blew my mind. The purge...never heard about the film before ...but i was watching tv , bored ...changing chanels , saw the tittle of the movie and thought there coud be something good there. I was right , loved the movie ...i spent the next hours thinking about that imaginary future.To the ones that never saw it , the story happens in America where the gouverment creates a law that in one day , for 12 hours anyone can do any kind of crimes, withouth being punished . The idea behind it is to allow people to release their violence and hate on that day , in result in the rest of the year the crime would go down ...also the most targeted during the purge were the poor . It was freaky to see how a society can come to accept something like that ...is freaky but not impossible . I started to think to myself " girl, this might not be so crazy or far away".

I mean , history shows us that , the nazis came along with all these ideas and many people in their country believed it was a "purge" of their home ...it was all for a good and bigger cause . Major econimc crises in society has such a tendency to bring to light extreme measures and ideas ....wich was also the basis of the story . In the movie America had been through many economic crises , wich lead to increase of violence and such ...and then the gouverment comes up with that incredible idea . FREAKY! FREAKY !

Now i googled more stuff about th movie and saw , there is a sequel "purge the anarchy " need to watch that now . Gonna give me even more shivers bet

Jealous partners are a nuisance, especially when they expect friends of 5+ years to just be abandoned.

A nuisance? That's putting it kindly. Jealousy is one of the worst traits a person can display, particularly because it displays enormous weakness and insecurity. There's nothing more sexually off putting than insecurity. Do people not realise when they display jealousy toward someone else they're actually making themselves look more unattractive and the other 'potential' partner MORE attractive? It's literally the most counter productive emotion in existence.

Things arent so black or white i would say . Can you honestly tell me you never felt jealous ?and never created some kind of issue in one of your relationships because of jealousy?I dont believe that .

Yes i agree, that if you have a good relationship you have to be able to talk about a insecurity you are feeling with your partner..and the other person needs to try to undertand the reason ....and both get to a conclusion that pleases both . Now you saying "any guy who tried that wouldnt last five minutes with me" just sounds a bit exagerated. Being a strong , secure person ...and in a relationship doesnt mean being inflexible to that level .

Still this talk started about jealousy when it comes to old friendships ...to me someone that becomes my boyfriend , accepts to become my boyfriend knowing who i am , and who i hang out with ....and likes me the way i am . Theres space , for friends and a romantic relationship ..and to me one is not more important than other .The person that wants to be in a romantic relationship knows that from the beggining .

I see we still keep the traditions alive around here. Thought by now these awards were long gone ...I will enjoy see the results , but i cant really vote because im not online on a regular basis to have a honest opinion in all categories. Good luck for everyone

I find this to be ridiculous ...wich in my opinion makes me very smart .A person with intelligence will enjoy all kinds of music ...not just one , i would say as more intelligent you are more interest you will have to know more and more ..so makes sence you are open to more different styles , even for some people personal taste certain song are considered stupid or not . Others can be able of finding something the rest cant see ....

Personally , for me would be a better experience to see them at a club gig ....because i would like to actually be able to see as many details as possible of their performance and how they would interect with eachother . Would be a dream to be as close as possible to all of them .Still seing them on a big stadium gig , with all the fireworks and crazy details on the background ...you know them being forced to give a huge spectacle , would be awesome too .

Can we chose both? I mean we deserved to get both things , and more . Ok , ok this is about saying what i would preffer ...i still say club gig , cause the short girl here would have to be just eating dust and probably not seing much of the gig in a stadium crowd lol

I say you can be sure that you were in love for someone, when you can look back even if you didnt have the fairy tale ending and say "yeah , i suffered but i wouldnt change what i lived , and felt ". Fortunally i have that ...yeah it didnt work , but what i lived with that person , was and still is very important and dear to me .

As anything brings good and bad things , even in the most beautiful love stories im sure there are moments of pain and uncertainty. Dunno , people see the "romantic love" as a magic cure for everything inside of you , and in your life ....not really .Someone can love you , and you can love her back, sure that will help you , bring joy ...but if you arent able to work on whatever you have to work , even that love will get ruined ...

Anyway to this day im still very thankfull for the fact that one day i could enjoy that feeling , something so real that made me be honest and open ...

There was no plan, i just had to follow what i felt , always knowing the possible consequences. Thats the most incredible and exciting thing about it, the choice you make of giving yourself to that feeling...such a brave thing to do .

Ah , well i have two jobs . Both part time...more recently i started working in a call center thing. I mean i call people trying to sell them packages related to internet , cable , mobiles ..all that kind of stuff. I hate it so much , cause i feel all the time like im bothering people lol wich is many times true ...especially during dinner time. Im always"im so sorry , i didnt mean to disturb your dinner" bla bla . Is just not really my thing to try and push people to buy something . I mean in my other job , the client goes inside the store because he is looking for something ....is not like i have to push him, try to force him to buy. Plus i feel like a machine , because im always saying the same thing over and over again , like a broken record . Blaaaaaah

I have so much sympathy for people who do cold-calling as a job. Not for the companies that think it's an acceptable way to sell their products, but the people who have to do it, absolutely. It must be utterly thankless most of the time.

Thanks . Is true , by the end of it my only joy is knowing i will walk home fast,while listening to the radio on my cell ..finally my personal world . After hearing , insults , sometimes people with sad stories ...because there are so many lonely people out there , that when they get a call from anyone they just vent. There was one time that trully made my heart get smaller ..i got this 80 something years old lady , so i was going to hang up because i couldnt sell nothing to her ...but she started talking , saying "im sorry " and such obviously i answered she had nothing to be sorry about ..and she started talking and talking ...got to a point she said "the best thing god could do for me , would be taking me ". It was one of those calls i will never forget... i knew that according to my job i should just tried to hang up on her as fast as i could in a polite way , but how could i hang up withouth saying something to try cheer her up somehow? I know , is not like my words can make a huge diference ...but i just couldnt be cold when i was hearing such speech.

Just hearing about this now . So strange cause the other day i was watching episodes from season 3 and laughing with somehting he did ,withouth having any idea . To be honest didnt seem likehe took care of himself that well so ....plus the lifestyle part of his job is very rough . Sorry to hear about it .

That is the biggest BS I've ever heard. No offence, I've heard it a lot and tried to believe it, but I've come to experience it's just not true. Sure, if you lose your job, or you break up with your bf or gf or something like that, that can work, you can emerge stronger. But I had some things happen to me that obviously didn't kill me, but they sure haven't made me stronger either.

Like I said, KK, no offence to you, it's something that I've been thinking about for a while now and thanks to you I can let it out I cringe every time I hear it.

I have to agree . I mean i understand people point of view when they say that . Is more in the sence , when you go throught any experience you can learn something from it , even if the conclusion you get of such experience is bad .I guess in that sence ,yes it makes you stronger because you may learn a diffent way of dealing with whatever. Still yeah i dont really like to hear that sentence much either , because yes a bad situation can make you stronger in the end if you find a way to deal with it ....but is not always possible . Thats why we see so many people dealing with mental issues ....depression and such
