love&hates

I like how Kasanova King seems to be trying to cheer up people that arent as lucky in life as him , right now . Love to see someone being nice for someone with nothing to gain from it , than maybe good karma if you believe in that.

Anyway , no i cant say im happy , actually i havent been happy in the last couple of years to be honest ...tried to live day by day .More recently with my grandmother death , i had to allow myself to be open to other people again , and finally let many things i had saved deep inside , so much anger for example.Im still not in a good place , but at least i faced some of the things that didnt allow me to feel good .Like for example ..i didnt talk with my mother in years , but i finally had the courage to do it ....

Im on a phase in my life , where im trying to process all new that is happening ,and letting go the past ...have many decisions in front of me . So theres fear , that brings negativity with him sometimes. I feel the next months in my life will be very important , there will be many things changing inside of me , and in my life in general . Good thing i will start talking with a psychologist soon .

The ice bucket thing started from the public bath challenges people would do on facbook so they didnt have to pay dinner to their friends right ?then it moved to the ice bucket thing for charity by celebreties ...look i dont really care for either . Only saw a couple of those video that seemed funny to me , so not really excited about this new fashion , still i only care that those celebretries that do the chalenge do give the money . Thats all , so i guess i say keep the ice very cold ....and lets get this celebreties wet lol

Burton, he made two of my favourite batman movies , "Batman" and "Batman returns", actually two of my top movies since i was a kid. Those are the coolest from the saga ...i mean who can forget Jack Nicholson charater?actually the joker is so unforgetable and so amazing that again In The Dark Knight"(another one of my favourites) that charather just steals the show all the time in the movie. Also the penguin ? gosh , just everything about those two movies seem to capture in a perfect way what batman and the gothan city are supose to be .

Who cares if it would be successful. Would it sound good or not? I think it would sound awesome.

Besides, yeah I think they would be successful even more if they'd stay together. It would sound more like GNR than anything else post '93. That's my opinion

Well yes , judging by everything they did together before ..yes i can believe it would be a good work ,specially in terms of songwritting . look i would be happy having them together ...love izzy like hell , but honestly the idea of him singing with duff dont think would be awesome. That band needed a pure lead singer .

is always like that . Its in the press and with the public in general ...when something bad happens people just need to get a name, a face to blame for it ...doesnt really matter the exact facts sometimes.Makes people feel more comfortable .

The truth is , there are situations where there isnt just one single evil person doing everything wrong , and theres no real/exact explanation .I think here we ant just blame one for them for what created the end of the band

Science says people may be able to live forever (they're brain anyway) starting in 2045. So yes, I think there's a greater chance of human immortality being attained than Axl ever speaking to Slash again.

Well, Steven still makes these comments. He did before the HOF when he called Axl and the band hacks and then the day after changed it to scabs after he'd apologized to Bumblefoot for it. Maybe he doesn't mean anything bad about it, but I can understand why it bothers Axl that he often says these kinds of anti Axl things in the press.

I do understand Axl on this point , i guess it would bother me too . But theres some stuff that gets to a point that you just need to ignore because it is ridiculous. I love Steven , dunno why he has this special place in my heart cause in the end he still acts like a teenage boy all lost in life . I love him , but if i go look to much of his behavious i have to say it is just ridiculous many times , and have to ignore it . Axl can do the same, and i guess he does now, because i can imagine Axl meeting him at some bar or other public place and talk to him with no problems . Now work with him? yeah not seing that happening ..not even if god came down on earth

Orsys, in times like this i say theres nothing a person can say that will ease the pain ... i used to say that and i confirmed it when i lost my grandmother last year. People kept saying " you need to be strong now , she would want you to try and be happy"...."shes up there in the sky with god watching over you". I tried to listen and respect their words , because they were only trying to help but my mind was going "that is all very pretty and all , but doesnt bring her back" .

Time does help , i miss her everyday but now i got to a place where im trying to live the best i can ...when i get a bit down i try to remenber what my grandmother would want for me . Be happy , enjoy life . So yes , thats a lesson im also trying to learn...not sure im quite there yet , but im trying.

I believe Axl mentioned in the chats that the reason things didn't "work out" with Steven was because only weeks later Steven spoke ill of Axl and the new GN'R in the press. I'm pretty sure it was in the chats he said it, but I'm not certain.

Axl should know Steven better than that , and not take him too seriously...i mean specially back in 2006 . Steven was all over the place , one day said one thing ..the next you couldnt even understand what he was saying .Really?was i the only one that thought in the past that Steven brain wasnt alive anymore ?i remenber feeling so sorry for him everytime a new comment from him came out on the press

You know in the end of the day yes , drinking is no excuse .Still , everybody does stupid stuff they regret at some point ...maybe this was one of them for your girlfriend . The best thing you can do is wait until she comes back and have a deep conversation (part of wich should be that something like isnt ok with you) im a big believer in the instinct ....so you talk to her and follow what your first instinct tells you , after looking to her eyes . Sometimes people do know the truth because their personal alarm goes full on red , screaming "danger , danger" but they preffer not to hear it , for whatever reason . The feeling/vibe(whatever you chose to call it ) you will get from her , is what should guide you

Seems to me it would be very difficult for you to break up with her even if you realize she doesnt love you like she used to anymore ....so try to not to listen to your fears , try just to get the reality of things. Basic instinct on these things is good

Lol Poor Matt, whatever he tries to do , he will never be one of "the cool kids " in the guns and roses world .Its a shame because he always tries so hard to get to the cheerleaders

No Scott no VR. VR won't hire Scott. VR is no more. So much of that band's identity had to do with Scott's turmoil and it being the band's last shot to make lightning strike twice. It's that context that made VR interesting and Contraband more enjoyable. However that was lost even by the time Libertad was around. Scott was clean (or at least not universally viewed at the time as a bum) and lightning had indeed struck twice for Slash and company. There was no urgency, they had already proven what they had to.

Unfortunately it seems like all Slash is interested in these days is being comfortable. Making Dad rock with Myles offers that. Being in a real band with other members that have an equal voice and opinions and a singer with personality and charisma (as Jack Donaghy says on 30 Rock, the thing about stars is that the crazier they are the more talented they are) takes the control away from Slash. By no coincidence, it also makes for better music.

I missed Megadeth in November of last year, really good setlist this tour too. Luckily they're planning another album, and I'd imagine a tour with it.

The awkward moment when you log back into My GNR Forum after a night of drinking and see the thread you started the night before.

Anyone who hates with a passion, do it out of frustration and because they would like to have that situation reverted. GN'R fans who totally hate the band are frustrated people who couldnt get over the fact that they broke up and deep inside know that band is not coming back.

I liked this . The guys say being in a band is like being in a marriage , so yes the fans are their kids indeed. Its always worse on the kids, specially when the "parents" for years seemed to try to make them pick one side ..saying this or that, bashing/trashing the other "parent"

Well , if he trully believes in protecting nature , and follows those believes in his own life , i have to congratulate hm for that.Even for this song, because theres nothing wrong with trying to make more people see what is happening in , nature , our world ...the more times you hear it , maybe sonner it gets in your head

Hey , since i joined this forum, High was always one of the main members around here . i wasnt really around during his Moderator time , but im pretty sure he did a good job , cause he always seemed a smart and reasonable person. Im sure he did his best . Continue posting , that might make me post more too
