W. Axl Kev

To be honest, I don't disagree with this. We are all aware (or we like to think we are) of Axl's temperament. It must be a pain in the ass for him to look out over the crowd seeing people with top hats and Slash t-shirts on. Everyone knows he's not in Guns N' Roses anymore so what possible reason could there be to dress like that in front of Axl other than to provoke him?

Do people seriously think this sounds good? I'm cringing at how off key Axl is. He even got the words wrong during Prostitute. This is poor stuff and they need to tighten this up an awful lot before I'll be paying money to see them.

Saw them at Reading festival. It was a secret show after Patrick Wolf (who was tidy by the way). Fucking unreal. They've got a song called 'Dead End Friends' which I reccomend highly!

Last semester at my uni that was a big hit. I think his album is really cool. My flatmate played it quite a lot.

Ok, I saw the Killers at T in the Park on saturday and as much as I hate to say it. They totally blew Guns N' Roses out of the water. Brandon Flowers is the best frontman in the world right now.

The highlights were; 'A Dustland Fairytale', 'All These Things That I've Done', 'Bones' & 'When You Were Young'. The best part of all was that, during 'All These Things That I've Done', Brandon threw a glowstick into the crowd and I caught it. No joke. I basically died on the spot.

If you have the opportunity to see the Killers live, please accept my very strong reccomendation. Best band in the world.

Kasabian are surely there or there abouts.

I saw Kasabian last night, supporting Oasis. They were fucking unreal. Maybe even better than Oasis.

It's quite an odd concept to me - like dedicating so much time impersonating someone else. If Guns 2 Roses are talented enough to cover GN'R songs why not write their own music?

Brandon looks wierd in it - like facially. He seems different. It's an awesome costume to be fair, I've no idea what it's meant to be but he's achieved.

Cool interview - I think Axl & Brandon have quite similar traits. They both talk a good game, all the whilst doubting themselves and feeling they are the greatest presence in music.

I've picked up on another complete tune from 'Day & Age'. 'I Can't Stay'. That's great.

I have a very long list of stuff I want from Brandon Flowers. More stadium rock like When You Were Young and Bling, hot gay sex, more awesome pop songs like Mr Brightside and Human, and definitely some more dark/alternative stuff like Tranquilize and Good Night, Travel Well.

In other exciting news, I have made my own Sam's Town album with a trackisting that is far better than the one they released.

I completely agree, I've been saying for a while now that she'll be bigger than Madonna. You can see similarities in their approach to videos etc. New hair styles, wild concepts and re-imaging.

Plus I think she's a much better singer and so much better looking.
