The Dead Daisies releases their first song with John Corbai on lead vocals. The full album will be released later that year.
-
So far I've played for maybe around 3 hours, but for now I have to say the game is freakin awesome. Feels different (one of the reasons is the lack of a shield) and in some way more than Demon's Souls instead of Dark Souls.

Preview of a new Tremonti song called Flying Monkeys.
-
New musical project of Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe) and Lee Richards (Dropbox). Always liked Whitfield as a singer and I'm happy he's still releasing music and especially music that I enjoy listening to.
The first single is a collaboration with Myles Kennedy.
And some songs from an acoustic session:
The full ablum should be released later that year.

They started writing their next record and it seems like Corabi is involved.

Still haven't finished season 2, but hopefully I can manage to do that in the next couple of days.

If you wanna get Chinese Democracy signed by all members involved, I guess his autograph is the second hardest (after Bucket) to get.

Paul being in the studio is not total bullshit. At least it wasn't in around 2006/7. I remember Ron giving an interview (was it with Eddie Trunk) and he mentionend Paul.
Well Richard said that when he joined the band in 2002, most of the parts were already recorded before he joined by Paul, Robin and Buckethead. Ron would have mentioned that even Paul recorded the parts before
In Terms of Guitar parts, Robin and Buckethead contributed a lot more, Paul just helped Axl in writing some parts of some songs, but Axl is the main person who wrote most of it
In the Interview I'm talking about Ron mentionend Paul is being in the band, just not touring. It was a fan question, something like 'Who would win a fight between Richard and Paul' and Ron said 'Richard has got longer arms, but Paul can better kick' and after that the interviewer asked who Paul is and if he's still in the band which Ron confirmed. At least that's how I remember it. So Ron knew Paul personally.
As for Pauls contributions to CD, just check the writing credits.

If another album is released it's not unlikely that we'll hear Paul on it. As IncitingChaos wrote (and as far as I remember) the reason he was replaced with Richard was that he wasn't comfortable touring.
EDIT: In his biography on mygnr.com Axl eplains it:
Here's what Axl Rose had to say about it in a august 14th 2002 official press release: "Paul helped us a lot in the writing and the recording of this record and to me was a vital part of not only the band but also my life. The world tour really wasn't his cup of tea whereas he's much more comfortable in a studio setting. We're fortunate to have found Richard who has this vibe kind of like Izzy but with amazing feel."

Really looking forward to the game. Love the Souls-Series.
-
Cool, thanks for posting that. Always looking forward for some Izzy/Duff music.

I assume that is Whitfield Crane from Ugly Kid Joe. Wow, that song kicked major ass. Great vocals. I wanted Whitfield Crane for Velvet Revolver....
He also would have been one of my choices. And yes, that song kicks ass and I guess I'll get the whole record when it's out.

That's probably the one that most people know of:

Sounds pretty good, really looking forward to the album.

can bumblefoot write any good songs?
I'd say yes, but I also like his solostuff, guess there are also people who don't enjoy it.
So, the new project of Bumblefoot as already lost its leadsinger? Nice start. lol
There's no way Axl would be cool with this. At least, I don't think he would be.
Why not? Richard recorded a song with Slash and there was no fuzz about it.
Well, not exactly (at least if you are talking about The Dead Daisies), as Richard wasn't featured on the first record.

Alter Bridge.

Sneak Peek for the upcoming second album:
-
Myles doesn't need a break. And yeah, the RQ Solo was way to long, could've easily played another song in the meantime.
-
No way, now I am pissed he did not play it in munich.
-
No photo allowed when Slash gets out of the venue to meet the fans after the show cause he can't sign and take a pic with everybody cause he has to go right away after. Understandable, there's so many people waiting even at 1.00 AM ! crazy !
So it's more like a "no pictures with Slash" policy instead of a "no pictures of Slash", right? I thought that Slash was just refusing to get any pictures of him taken, considering our friend Jogger said "no pictures allowed".
Jogger was right, it was no pictures of Slash after the concert. Was also waiting there for him and got my autograph, and I also assumed it was only meant that we cannot take a picture with him, but security reminded us a dozen of times that we were not allowed to take any pictures of him during that signing and if we do so he may stop it.
Concert was pretty good, although my only two complaints would be that I don't like Todds voice during 'You're crazy' (no idea why he is singing that high there) and the Rocket Queen Solo was really, really loooong but overall a really cool concert.

Thanks for posting, been a really long time since I watched that gig the last time. Totaly forgot how weak Axls voice was at that gig, but still something special.
-
Myles did a nice job here, very professional, no drama etc.
Imagine Axl on here with his Bridget school performance and voice?! ehh....no thanks!
I would imagine that if Axl would have decided to play a reunion show in front of god knows how many millions of people, that not only would be have practiced and gotten his voice in shape for it, but he probably would have lost 50 pounds as well.
I don't believe for a second that the Axl we see now would be the Axl we'd see if the original band got back together. He'd do it right if he did it at all.
uhh gnr was commercial just like alter bridgeMyles isn't the right fit as a singer to do justice to GnR songs. He belongs in commercial radio rock outfits like Alter Bridge and Creed. His voice blends perfectly with Tremonti's tone, but not Slash's. All in all I would've rather had Todd Kerns sing or maybe Scott if he can drop his childish antics.
How many It's so Easy's, Get in The Rings and Perfect Crime's did Alter Bridge write? GNR had hits, but they were authentic. Alter Bridge was a product.
A product of what? They bought themselves out of 2 record labels with their own money because they weren't happy with the way the record deals wanted them to sound. AB is as authentic as you can get.
This. Cannot understand how someone can claim that Alter Bridge is not authentic.
