Richard is just an extremely steady and versatile guitar player.

This! I wouldn't call him exceptional, that's more for the guys like Slash or Bucket, but he's a really skilled guy and knows what he's doing.

I enjoy his work with Beautiful Creatures, nothing mindblowing new, but solid.

Preordered it on amazon.com so it should arrive in the next two weeks. For future releases I'd either have another future concert (if his voice is good) or one of the 2006-2010 era. Don't care that much for 3D, so HD is fine.

Season 1 was pretty good, season 2 was okay and season 3 sucked, so I stopped after that one. And from what I've heard so far it wasn't getting much better during its later seasons.

Looking forward to it. Liked his singing voice during his GNR-stint, especially on Madagascar.

The Empire Strikes Back is better than its predecessor and I also think that Terminator 2 is a little bit better (but just a little bit).

Seriously, what's with Axl bringing on these people who are no better than any 15 year old kid you can find at Guitar Center? DJ, Huge, BBF, Ashba, Fortus-- they're all as special as any kid showing off his new gear on YouTube.

While someone may agree with some of these names, it's bullshit comparing people like Ron or Richard with a 15 year old kid at a guitar center.

I doubt it. Guess he'lls tick to the usual songs like Youth Gone Wild, 18 and Life, Remember Me, Slave to the Grind and maybe something like Wasted Times/Quicksand Jesus.

some exercise would improve things, but we don't know to what extent he's already doing that stuff at the end of the day.

He said during the TMS interview that he prepares for a tour by doing a lot of cardio - but he also made it clear that he really doesn't enjoy it (and it's an effort to get himself to do it).

He'd feel and perform a lot better if he hired a competent PT - that specializes in celebrity transformation - and committed himself to a gym routine. But we've been saying this for a long time now, I don't think Axl has any interest in aging 'gracefully'.

He should get DDP as his trainer ... or just do what Richard is doing to stay in shape.

A tweet saying "working on my next album" or "at rehearsals" would never be criticized, let alone crucified. An announcement of Axl giving a full interview regarding the future of his band, would be great in everyone's eyes. This is normal stuff I'm talkin' about, I mean, why not?

These kind of tweets would be nice. Would be really great if he'd be doing these two things.

I'd also assume it's Axl who has the last word what songs are being played and in which order.

Of course that would be better. I totally understand not being happy with the current state of affairs, I'm neither. But the constant trolling is not really helping anything, at least I don't find it very funny. Sure the first couple of times a 'fat bloated Axl', 'AshbashwagTM'-joke may be funny. But after reading it in almost every thread ... well, not my cup of tea.

Was it a good performance by Axl? No, his voice is far from being good at the moment. But that's not surprising as most of us have seen/heard the last couple of shows and knew what to expect.

But what bothers me a lot more than his voice is the constant, repetitive negativity/trolling on this board, which really makes a not so much fun to read the threads. Usually I just take a quick look to see if anything new has happened and that's it.
