  1. That version is a fan-edit of the original 16-second clip. Only 16 seconds of that song has leaked... Not 37.

I know, but more is better.

More cock in your case. :takethat:

I do have a big one, thanks Dazey.

  2. Fill stadiums again? not with this line up so.........not in this lifetime

What i see is again easy money $$$$$$.Thats all they want, and they wont have mine again.

Why do you care if they fill stadiums?

They fill stadiums in South America, though...

I could fill a SA stadium. Tom Stimson could, Brian Carroll could.....it's SA.

    No.

Warrant (with some dude on vocals) could. Dokken could, Queensryche (with new singer) could. LOL

All of those bands play clubs or arenas in SA not stadiums (on their own anyway).

OMFG it's axl8302. who let this animal out of the cage? :nervous:

    Get ready for it :bitchfight:

  4. DJ doesn't have a solo album (as you well know), so god knows what your point Is.

Well I think most people who can walk and chew gum simultaneously would know what my point was sweet cheeks. ;) The nuthugger I was addressing was making the point that Slash does the talk shows and his SOLO album only sold 80,000 despite that. Since he was using that flawed logic with the intent of bigging up DJ at Slash's expense I was simply suggesting a like for like comparison where we compare the SOLO sales of each artist. :shrugs: Heroin Diaries was a SixxAM record so basically we're talking about a lot of Nikki fans bumping those numbers up. Course if you want to compare album sales of both of them under the name Guns n' Roses..........................

DJ doesn't have a solo album (as you well know), so god knows what your point Is.

You sure about that hot lips?

You could say the same about the guest artists on Slash's albums "bumping the numbers up".

That solo album wasn't even properly released and came out before Ashba was known. The "point" of your post was to make a "fair comparison", right? Then compare that Ashba solo album to Road Crew and compare SIXX AM to Slash's recent releases. Nikki Sixx doesn't have a bigger draw than; Myles Kennedy, Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie, Chris Cornell, Andrew Stockdale, Adam Levine, Lemmy, Dave Grohl, Duff Mckagan, Kid Rock, M Shadows and Iggy Pop combined - does he? No! So as usual, your logic is flawed.

  5. I hope Guns can recreate the massive success of Apocalyptic Love (85,000 copies sold in the US before permanently exiting the charts)

Remind us all again how many copies DJ's last solo album sold? Y'know for a fair comparison and all? ;)

DJ doesn't have a solo album (as you well know), so god knows what your point Is.

The Heroin Diaries has sold 344,000 in the US.

The follow-up sold 30,000 in It's first week of release.

  6. The whole "I'm shy, hence the hat" line is BS. In the early 90's, almost in every interview he was without a hat. Even during most shows, the hat only came out occasionally. IMO, he's wearing the hat now because he's losing his hair. You hardly EVER see him without it now. I think it's pretty obvious. It's the same thing with Axl. Starting around 1993, Axl never went without a bandana and/or hat and now he never goes without.

Personally, I think it's lame. I subscribe to the Bruce Willis method of dealing with MPB. But, whatever.

Thanks for posting this amazing video! Many of us had no idea that Slash took his hat off in 2011, this is good to know.

  7. The Live Era version is weird, I don't know if they sped up the song or if the whole band tuned the instruments this way, but the song pitch-wise is in between Eb and E, which makes it sound a bit odd.

    :sleeper:

  8. It's about time that Steven, Slash, Izzy and Duff start a lawsuit against Axl to stop him using/butchering the classic songs.

Beleive it or not, they make money off of Axl playing the songs live. At least if they're credited as a songwriter on the particular song.

They don't make money when they are played live. I think the only way they get a cut is if a song is used in a movie, commercial, video game etc....

This is why Axl wanted the re-recorded Jungle for Blackhawk Down.

Yes, yes they do. A small amount, but they do. Everytime it's played anywhere they get a check. Even people who write church songs get checks for what is played at church. Every venue pays a fee and through reporting, that fee is eventually channeled down to the writers.

They may get a small percentage from the venue licensing fees, if the venue uploads the set lists to ASAP, BMI or SESAC; but they don't have to do it and have no reason to do it unless they are already paying a licence fee to the aforementioned organizations.

An artist or group can play anything they want live and pay nothing, unless it is recorded; filmed and released commercially.

  9. Question--

Axl claims that Slash and Duff really liked My World during the recording of the UYI records. He claims Slash said the song was "perfect" as it was and sort of talked Axl out of developing it further--Axl said he wanted to have Slash on guitar on the track.

Slash and Duff claim to not have even known about the song's existence until the UYI records were released.

Do you know what the true story is, or which story is closer to the truth?

Also, what do you think of My World? What'd you think of it when you first heard it?

When did DUFF ever claim that? He apparently loved the track and was well aware of it's existence.

  10. Who are the killers?!?

The Killers had their moment, then appeared to vanish.

Maybe there's a forum out there where fans of the Killers chat about them all day, while the rest of the world moved on :D

    I always liked Sam's Town:

Bad boy me downloaded the 1st three albums, and burnt out covers. Their 3rd album Sawdust was a waste of a blank disc. There's was a 4th album, and I couldn't be bothered to Google that one. Their albums are dirt cheap to buy these days. I will someone replace by copies of HOT FUSS and Sam's Town with originals, as both albums are very good.

    Classic Track:

Sawdust doesn't count! It's only B-Sides... Day & Age was a great record!

  11. I don't know what the proof is or why they didn't charge the security guard. I certainly never claimed to have any answers...

I simply stated that if their actions caused the death of this kid, then they should be charged with manslaughter.

i agree if there is more evidence than this video. if they dont charge the bodyguard then it seems fishy to me

when you go to metal concerts if you charge the stage you get thrown off. you have to remember this is a post dimebag world, dimebag was playing on stage fan runs onto stage and shoots him dead

    One thing regarding the bail...

As long as the defendant doesn't break the conditions of the bail, he get's the money back. So It's not like the Czech government gets to keep that money. That's not really much of a "shakedown". They obviously doubled the bail as they didn't want to let him out (for whatever reason).

I do agree it's strange that they waited so long to press charges, it may be that it was the only way they expected to get him into custody, as the USA isn't likely to grant an extradition.

I'm not saying the guy is guilty or anything, I have no idea, but it's not much of stretch to imagine someone getting a serious head injury from a push off a stage. Post Dimebag or not; if it results in a death the person doing the pushing is liable.
