  1. Kanye West and Axl Rose. Clash of the gigantic egos.

Big difference though. Kanye releases alot of music and every time I saw hiim perform live he was on time.

    You are SO original!

I'm sorry, I must have missed the other 100 topics about the differences between Kanye West and Axl Rose. Still if I'm not the only one to have stated this, then the point I made remains valid.

    Slow too!

  2. Cardi, not to be putting words in your mouth, bit if Slash threw songs like he's been writing to Axl and we had his vocals on them, we'd have another fucking Appetite.

    ahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  3. Ooooh!...let's see!

I want songs about drinking cheap wine, aaaaand songs about living on the dangerous streets, aaaaand I want Axl to fuck a whore on the studio floor and make a song about it.

They need to explore the whole streetscene gutter-rat angle, take things in new directions, expand, grow, challenge themselves artistically.

    You are SO funny. :sleeper:

  4. Original lineup:Axl,Slash,Duff,Izzy,Steven

ole, tracii etc didn't even finish anything goes.

Finishing any songs that will later be part of any releases is -- wait for it -- not a prerequisite for being in a band. And if you actually are in a band, then you are part of a lineup.

Too difficult to comprehend? Read it again, and again, ad nauseum, until pure repetition makes you understand. Here's a helpful tip if you still don't get it: replace "original" with its synonym "earliest" in the sentence and see if you then see the problem.

The sentence will then read "Earliest lineup:Axl,Slash,Duff,Izzy,Steven" which is only correct if you somehow manages to change the fact that Guns N' Roses existed before Duff, Steven and Slash became part of the band

Was Pete Best your favorite Beatle?

    Good one.

Where I come from, we talk to our women. We do not drug them with plants.

  5. Well ... it's fun to finally see the video after having heard snippets of it discussed here and there from various sources (like that supposed Lars clearance holdup).

But the video is quite weak. I enjoyed the backstage segments, but this is from the same dude who did "November Rain" and "Jungle"? Really?

Maybe it was just a rough cut. The CGI elements were pretty bad though.

But again, we're starving here as fans so any little bit is good. Nice to have something to talk about again. It's been kinda quiet lately. haha

    :sleeper:

  6. So Manets.......still think people don't have enough time on their hands or aren't deranged enough to make fake GNR clips or album artwork?

And you ready to provide the "PROOF" that Better Gone is real yet, or are you willing to concede that it's just a remix of unknown origin?

Everyone one is wishing you'd shut up, you're like a broken record. :jerkoff:

Damn, gotta be an asshole to everyone don't ya?

    Is that a rhetorical question?

  7. In this Day and Age it's actually pretty standard to have at least a bit of pitch correction on vocals, if only to keep it close. A few years back American Idol got in a fake little controversy for autotuning contestants, the pitch correction was too high when a contestant was doing an obnoxious vibrato and you could hear the notes individually as opposed to gradually changing. They apologized, but never really stopped.

As for Axl himself, I'm not sure. I remember someone posting a live video asking about this, and it was pretty convincing. He might, wouldn't be surprised if he did, but from the amount of off key fuck ups he has I doubt it.

You're not sure.... You think he might... You wouldn't be surprised if he did.... But you doubt it.

Thanks for clearing that up for us pal!

  8. With all the rumors years ago about the better video just basically being live footage we all seen this coming, but I am still a little disappointed that it is not a full fledged music video, because like someone said before me, a live video just doesn't do "the most anticipated album ever" justice if ya know what I mean. Although Im sure there were plans for at least one epic music video from CD 1 if not more. Which makes me think, weren't there rumors that there was a Street of Dreams and Catcher video finished but never released also or something like that?

Also the Ferrari in the beginning is hard to see because it was so dark, but I assume that is Axl's Enzo Ferrari?

No, there weren't any such rumours, you just made that up.

  9. Because hardly anything on ChiDem has a solid chorus or any line that is "catchy"... GNR got huge because they were great songwriters who wrote aggressive songs yet still had mass appeal because of the pop elements in them.. ChiDem does not anything that is remotely as appealing as AFD to UYI.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

  10. I'm surprised it's such a big deal now. Regardless of how cool the video may or may not be I don't see why they would bother releasing it now for anything other than the novelty of it. Is there really any point in trying to promote a record who's time came and went?

    This

    Unfortunately, too late for this...

But this is a good video

I want 2006 Axl and 2006 band back.

Yeah and I shoulda fucked Dale Evans but I didn't.
