    in 2007 axl will have about as much relevence in music as micheal jackson does

    eventough, they will sell albums and gets filthy rich on em and keep selling out concert tickets.......wierd....

    Maybe it has something to do with both of them are 2 of the most talked aobut, and famouse musicians in this century?

    Like there are so many of you that are shocked that its not coming out this year.

    No, not really shocked that it's not coming out. More of a shock that both Axl and Merck said it would.

    If we don't hear anything(promotion wise) about it in Late January-early february, its probably not happening in March.

    Its true, if nothing happens Late January-early february in terms of promotion, then its likely it wont come out march.

    But Axl did say he will keep us informed either way, so its all good!

    This is an unsigned band who I will be producing an album with next year. They have no gig experience at all, but from what they have here, I reckon they will get far.

    The songs they have on their profile were recorded by them in their bedroom. And then they brought them to me to see if they were good enough to record an album.

    I was more than impressed with what they had done already, and even more impressed with other songs they had shown me.

    They were the nicest guys ever and it was a joy to meet them. I cant wait till next year to help these guys further into accomplishing their dreams.

    If you have a myspace, add them please and let them know what you think. Alterenatively just leave a comment here and Ill forward it on to them.

    I think because Axl said it, 'everyone' here is buying into it...

    Personally, I think the album wasnt finished to begin with. And this is a way of buying more time.

    What's wrong with Bach?

    Whats right with him?!

    Well...he can sing very well,he has helped GNR a bit,he is close friends with the band for 20 years,I don't see anything wring with this dude.

    He cant sing very well anymore, GnR has helped him more than he has helped them and he is friends with GnR because he has no other friends.

    He is the ultimate personification of why the 80s sucked!

    He is a washed up glam rock whore who is trying to become 'popular' again by appearing on Reality Rock tv shows and kissing Axl's ass.

    When he tours with GnR, he is playing infront of thousands of people.

    When he tours on his own, he is playing to 20 people. 24 at best.

    you need to keep in mind that this are the same fans that ridiculed Bach for saying (VR Who? :lol: )

    A real fan respects both the old and the new. It is possible to love them both, ya know.

    he didn't just say the new band was better, he said it kicks the shit out of the old. That'd make them about 3x or 4x better than the old band. The band that took the world over by storm, the band that broke some good ground, the band that had the entire music industry by the balls. And this band by virtue of being that much better has to top that. Nah, sorry, not gonna happen.

    It's not gonna happen as long as people like yourself can only look back and never forwards.

    Tell that to Axl... ;)

    Read Axl's statement. It's 'oh-so' clear he's looking forward.

    Although this seems to be true, he sure is taken a fucking long time in doing so! :P

    With all the money that has "supposedly" been spent on the album, wouldn't it have been cheaper just to buy and setup your own home recording studio?

    I mean thats what I did, and it worked wonders... ;)

    A4A: That 13 million wasnt just for the album. You have to consider the new boat Axl bought, that Island just off the South of France and numorous shares in VW. :)
