  1. randy does the same thing during the crazy train solo.

if you don't wanna practice, get somebody to pull down the whammy bar while you're playin,  if you got one.

it looks cool as hell on stage too.

also, i don't think that's tapping, it's the bending technique with hammer ons.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeah, but he's bending the G string, and holding the B string. It would be hard to trill while holding down 2 notes at once. Plus, they way the notes sound. I'm almost certain that they're being tapped.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

if he was tapping then it would be impossible for him to come back in that fast.

i realize i'm a noob here, but i'm not one at guitar. i'd be down for that section too

  2. god damnit, why does every band name or song nowadays have to be something "down".

like going down, falling down, bringing me down, ain't going down, take you down, feeling down.

    it's fucking stupid

so take me in, take me down, take me down, down, down, take me in, take me down.

like every fucking VR song right there. every korn song too.

  3. Face it, people.  Fenders are more practical guitars.  All the points have proven it.  They are far more affordable and versatile.

Mark Knopfler is one of my favorite guitarists.  There is no way he could get his signature tone with a LP.  Same with Eric Johson, Clapton, Hendrix, and all of the other good Strat players out there.  Page was just as good with either guitar.

Most of the people who voted Gibson hat their descision affected by Slash in some way or another.

Therefore I delcare fender the winner :P

But what you say is very true

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

    hey, hey! no!

the spaghetti incident is more versatile and affordable then AFD. but AFD excels in what it's supposed to do, therefore it's better. (plus it has nighttrain). OWNED!

i own both LP and fender. but my jackson blows them both way out of the water.

you can't cay megadeth doesn't have an awesome sound (albeit dave's stupid voice)

  4. save another hundred or too and buy a jackson. i've had les pauls and they're just too heavy, i'm done with em'. especially epiphones, they're just garbage

anyway, it's imperative that you get the floyd rose system. if you play hard like me, the guitar will go right out of tune in a couple minutes. that's why slash uses so many different guitars, cause they go out of tune.

stringing up the floyd rose is a bitch, though

  5. you guys and your damn antics with semantics. yes pink floyd and metallica are rock n' roll, jeez.

it kinda sucks that i can't vote for PF,,i'm going with the grand scheme of things, and since the final cut, SOC, meddle, and ummagumma sucked, they don't get my vote. metallica would've won if it weren't for st. piece of shit. and i can't vote for guns cause axl usually sucks in concert. (you know he does). i'll have to give my vote to sublime since 40 oz. to freedom and the self titled one were so good. robbin the hood is good as hell too, especially for being recorded on a 4 track.

    so freakin innovative

  6. i saw them on that tour when they played in pittsburgh. hell, i was only in 5th grade

i still remember it perfectly, god, so amazing. the first time i ever heard CN was at that show

it's been my favorite ever since

and roger waters is NOT pink floyd! the division bell is one of their best albums

  7. now i'm pretty damn good at guitar, but i'm self-taught. i can fly up and down scales, but i've seen some stoners at some parties i go to that do this arpeggio shit and blow me away, how do you guys do that? (i'm always too drunk to remember).

  8. Danzig fucking owns all of us. That dude rocks!

    "I got a feeling, I'm on a Dirty Black Summer!!"  B)  rock3  rock1

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
