  1. Hey jude was THE perfect ending to the perfect night!!!! Although i really did want to cut mariah carey's eyes with an ice scream scooper, and replace them with chocalate eggs. She made her own "nanananana" chant, with her over exagerated note hitting. It was terrible.

You call that a perfect night ?

Old people playing old music for old people !

The only guy who deserved respect was Pete Doherty.

Your a prick. Thats why this music is so great, it is timeless. You can't say its old, i can listen to pink floyd every day, and the music wont get old. Fortantly songs made by the beatles, pink floyd, and the who will never get old, time does not effect them. These songs are immortal, and in 100 years time, they will still be played, as if they were just released today.

Pink Floyd was great when Syd Barrett was in the band. It has become shit for more than 30 years.

U2 playing a Beatles' song was ridiculous.

    The Who is deaf.

    VR's singer : pathetic.

I'm listening to The Libertines right now. What a difference ! rock3

  2. i'm gonna go with pink floyd, i caught them in pittsburgh on the division bell tour, they basically played the whole pulse cd, with a couple more tunes. guy pratt was the basist back them, and he brought plenty of energy.

but what made it spectactular, besides the lasers. pigs, movies, songs, and props was that they didn't fuck up anything. not only that but there were changes they made to the songs. so it wasn't like listening to a cd.

not one voice crack, messed up lyric, wrong or dead note,it was truly phenominal

out of the shows i've seen in person : aerosmith, chili peppers, old and new guns, ozzy, sabbath, pantera, type o negative, acdc and some others. there were always mistakes made at an alarming frequency- now you may say that add character to the concerts.

but the bottom line was that it was because they didn't practice enough

  3. Does anybody know any GNR solos that are pentatonic-scale based for the guitar? I learned my scales forward and backward, but not sure where to go from there. I hear like 80%of rock solos are pentatonics. Any suggestions?

This can be from any gnr era...slash..buckethead...whatever. I just need to jam out w/ my new mutant power

    oooooo rah

guns solo's are extremely difficult to play, most have bits and pieces of the penatonic scale. but most (especially bucket's) are of the chromatic (anything goes) variety.

if you just learned this scale, then chances are you're not ready for this, but the nighttrain solo isn't that hard and is penatonic based. the first 2 solos in scom are - the 3rd one is tricky. the right next door to hell solo would probably be your best start, though. or the patience solo if you have patience (sorry about the pun)
