There's actually something wrong with that...

My friend tried to buy his CD last week at HMV, and they told her they didn't haven't yet, even though it was the release date....

Agreed.

I didn't even see it at Best Buy.

So, I think this is a distribution problem - not a sales one.

Well, while I'm no Baz fan (I think his voice sucks, and his songs are shit) you have to take into consideration that he didn't release it through a major label. He had to generate all the hype and promotion for this album by himself, and he really worked his butt off, which you have to respect.

That was wrong Dead Flower. Indiefucks like Arcade Fire who were on shitty labels sold tons of albums with less promotion than Bach. Bach was on MTV promoting his shit ! So lack of promotion is not an admissible excuse.
