pain cake Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Boo hoo, it's based on song popularity and audience appeal so that list looks pretty damn spot on to me Quote
batman1987 Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Well, you know this list is bullshit considering hanson is in the top 20. Come on the whole song was "mmmm bop" over and over!! Quote

pain cake Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Obviously there's not a lot there that I would consider quintessential like Bitter Sweet Symphony by the Verve, Save Tonight by Eagle Eyed Cherry, Today by Smashing Pumpkins, Killing in the Name by Rage, Smooth by Santana and Rob Thomas, Gangster's Paradise by Coolio, Rockin' in the Free World by Neil Young, AC/DC's Thunderstruck! But it's VH1, I just watched a top 20 songs of the past 25 years by them and it was like identical with a few from the 80's. I don't know why people complain so much about these, it's not like they're meant to be taken seriously. Quote

UYIllusion Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 I don't know about this list. You Could Be Mine and November Rain were the top videos of 1991 and 1992 on MTV. I would think they would be in the Top 100 of the decade. Quote
