ok so i am using my laptop and ive downloaded a bunch of videos that i wanna burn onto a DVD. i had them all on a playlist and everything and then i put in the DVD. but the laptop is not 'finding' the DVD for some reason and it isnt working. anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it? :question:

What DVD program are you using E16 ?, all programs have different features that may be the problem.

Its possible the settings on the program need to be changed to look for the actual burner, might be set to another non existent lettered drawer.

Right click my computer and select properties

Select device manager

Find the burning drawer then right click and select properties

This will let you check the device status and update the drivers if needed

i just tried it. the movie plays--but only the audio. this is on windows media player

That might just be a codec issue, what format is the video ?

Best advice is to download a commonly used burning programme like Nero, it will be much easier to workout faults when burning
