This is truth,so next time you want to blame GNR for lack of communication,Look at how "some" people behaved,at the utter bullshit that was being slung and splattered.Look at some of the insane speculative rumors that get started here,and ask yourself if you would want to communicate,or even acknowledge "some" of the alledged "fans" here.

Stack that blame where it rightfully belongs,and Stick it to the Lying,depressing, faceless cowards here who come on a daily basis to try and discredit GNRs,because they somehow got the ridiculous notion that they are somehow entitled because they chose to buy an album or attend a concert or two. This group can fuck right off,and deal with their issues. Sounds harsh,but think about it before typing back some stupid response.

As I said, I think we´ll hear something in about a week before the tour, but knowing this bands history, plans can change and the plug can be pulled any minute.

On the other hand I think it´s fair that Axl should ask himself why the attitude among the fans has become what it is.

That alone would discourage me from trying to appease people that will constantly Bitch,gripe and complain about every move GNR makes. You complain when there is silence,you complain about no tour,now I'm seeing entire topics devoted to critique setlists for shows that haven't even been played yet,and other idiot whacked posts that proceed to critique manner of dress,grooming,accessories etc. It's getting into an area of incorrect thinking,you don't own nor employ someone because you choose to attend concerts or buy their albums.That is a case of mental fuckery,and it's alive and thriving here. I think some of you are putting the chicken before the egg here. Axl was silent to fans many years before the forums started, which could be a possible reason for the slight hostility. Also some of you exaggerate facts, even Axl himself said in the chats that they were going really well, most people were gobsmacked to have him post here. You guys(you know who you are) are trying to blame a handful of people among several hundreds for Axl not wanting to post here again? With that logic he could simply post on HTGTH, where the 'haters' are much more minimal. What will be your defence for Axl not posting on HTGTH? Wait wait I know... "He doesn't work for you". Got it, done. We should just lock all threads positive or negative if that's what you guys are preaching, can't even express an opinion or idea without getting accused of having an 'agenda'.

I understand where you're coming from and I get the larger scope to which (I think) you're referencing. However, I just meant here on this board: that people's behavior on this board ain't encouraging band members to come back.

Axl's not afraid. He fucking requested people submit questions about the band name. Doesn't sound like the behavior of someone who's scared, now does it? If I were him, I'd avoid all the haters and douches too. Gotta stay positive.

Furthermore, he may not give a rat's ass, but the fact is indisputable that he came here and participated on the board. And as a matter of fact mister smartass, he did come back to set the record straight about the no-slash-gear thing whilst also giving Madison a reality check about her misinformation and delusions of grandeur.

You might be right that he just wants to do his thing, but I think you're missing something. It's a point of professional courtesy to play the songs many fans want to hear. If Axl was as big an asshole as you and everyone makes him out to be, he would just play only the new stuff and tour south america and europe. And while you might say "oh he plays the old songs because they make him money," the fact still remains that he pours a lot of effort into his singing even though he surely must be sick to death of singing those songs. And we as fans appreciate that sings with all the fire and piss & vinegar we expect from him.

I'm not sure what "whole thing" you're talking about, but I don't think you should write off Axl just yet. He's got one (or more) aces up his sleeve yet. You just wait and see.

When every statement is sure to be dissected,analyzed and rehashed to death I wouldn't spill preliminary plans or news either. Is it a new prerequisite that concert tour dates must be accompanied by open internet chats? He could have compiled all the information that was shared into a book and made money,but he chose to do it for free.

There is a difference in constructive criticism and simply coming online each day to spew venom in GNRs direction,if you can't see that I can't help you. The tour is on,things are happening and some still aren't happy.Tough shit,not my problem.

Unfortunately, Dexter won't be coming back because of all the assholes who obsessively cupcake him on this forum. It was even stated by one of the mods that the probable reason that Axl, Beta, and Fernando stopped posting here was because of the way they were being treated.

Given how embarrassing some of the posters were during Bumblefoot's chat, I doubt we'll ever hear from GNR on here ever again.

Of course the people who repelled Axl won't admit they're at fault; they're in denial. But if you read through the chats with Axl and Bumble, it's pretty embarrassing. =(

This is why HTGTH is the ultimate GNR fansite. People bitch because it's so censored but it's a "fan" site. Fan's don't sling shit and cupcake. I don't see anything wrong with only allowing fans to post there.
