Yeah they're often coloured by propaganda but i don't think thats necessarily bad as long as they are self aware about it, as opposed to something like John Waynes The Sands of Iwo Jima etc.

i really liked "land and freedom", it's about the spanish civil war and people fighting for their ideas.

"patton" is great too. it helps to understand the mentality of a man of war.
