Belinda Carlisle's first venture into music was a brief stint as drummer for the punk band The Germs, under the name Dottie Danger.

Chrissie Hynde before she formed the Pretenders, though at least five years older, she tried (but failed) to convince a teenage Sid Vivious to join her in a sham marriage so she could get a work permit.

Courtney Love was once the singer for Faith No More.

Don Felder of the Eagles formed a band at age 15 with Stephen Stills. He also gave Tom Petty music lessons.

Jimmy Page's sunburst 1959 Gibson Les Paul, better known as his "Number 1" was originally owned by Joe Walsh and was sold to Page in 1969.

The truly story to that is she tried (and succeeded) to convince John Rotten to marry her for a work permit, paying him £2 for doing so but at the last minute they didn't, Sids part in the story was accusing her of doing it to attach herself to Rotten cuz he was gonna be famous etc.

Darby Crash and John Lennon died on the same day or one after the other.

I've always found it funny that Clapton wrote Layla, taking inspiration from his real life experience with Harrison's wife, only to separate a few years after finally getting her. Grass is always greener I suppose.

Yeah what a cunt. Its like he pined for her and then he got her and decided he wanted what the other kids were playing with.

Pat Smear used to call Kurt "Darby"

Love and FNM? No...

The Original FNM :P

The song "Sundown" by Gordon Lightfoot allegedly was about his girlfriend Cathy Smith, who later became more infamously known for her involvement in the death of John Belushi
