Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill will re-team in a new film based on Marie Brenner's 1997 Vanity Fair article "The Ballad of Richard Jewell". Jewel was a security guard who discovered a backpack filled with three pipe bombs during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Initially he was considered a hero, but later on unreliable media reports made him a suspect and destroyed his personal reputation.

According to early reports, Hill will play Jewel, while DiCaprio will be his lawyer. The film will be produced by Twentieth Century Fox.

Note: Hill and DiCaprio can also be seen in acclaimed director Martin Scorsese's latest film, The Wolf of Wall Street, which has been nominated for five Academy Awards.

Sounds like Jonah has the main part in this movie, no?

And Jonah has definitely taken a big jump from the "fat, jew-frowed kid in Superbad". I don't think he's an amazing actor, and am surprised at his recent nominations in all honesty. But, I do applaud his step into a more "serious" direction (though have nothing wrong with those that stay in a "comedy" direction i.e. Seth Rogen). Cool to see him branching out a bit.
