davhern
Seems like a good time to bump this...I'd go with (not listing solos) - For the fuck of it, I'm gonna include one nuGNR song and one VR song even though I think there's little chance they'll do either1. gunsfanoldie
I stand by my setlist fro a page back. 30 songs, two sets, or 20 songs, take out all the extraneous bands and get to 20 songs, 1 long set.OK, I've had this setlist (unordered) on my iTunes for a very long time. It doesn't quite fit the parameters, but I wanted to order that one and I'll limit it to 20 after that. But the set I've had includes Izzy, Slash, Adler, VR and Chinese material and comes out to 29 songs, two sets) and 2 and a half hours (probably close to 3 live). Its completely unbelievable, but it covers all their areas and I think its very fair to all members. I just ordered the set quickly so forgive me for possible lack of flow, but I did try to order it for Axl singing (although he'd be dead by song 3 anyway lol):SET 1:1. Welcome To The Jungle2. Nightrain3. Perfect Crime4. Bad Obsession5. 14 Years (Izzy vocals)6. Chinese Democracy (from Chinese Democracy)7. Sucker Train Blues (Velvet Revolver cover)8. Civil War9. Human Beings (from Spaghetti Incident)10. Reckless Life11. Knockin' On Heaven's Door (Bob Dylan cover)12. Out Ta Get Me13. Been There Lately (Slash's Snakepit cover)14. November Rain (with any solo Axl piano intro; It's Alright, whatever he wants)SET 2:15. Right Next Door To Hell16. Alive (Adler's Appetite cover)17. Shuffle It All (Izzy Stradlin cover)18. Breakdown19. There Was A Time (from Chinese Democracy)20. Patience21. What Do You Want To Be (Slash's Snakepit cover)22. Dead Horse23. Slither (Velvet Revolver cover)24. Sweet Child O' Mine25. Mama Kin (Aerosmith cover)26. You Could Be MineENCORE:27. Estranged28. Don't Cry29. Paradise CityThere's my set. Fully annotated to show what songs are covers and from stuff that isn't on strictly well known Guns albums. If I had to scale it back to 20, I'd have to make it just strictly GNR. So I'd take out both of my Chinese songs, both Snakepit songs, both Velvet Revolver songs, Alder's Appetite and Izzy song, and then Knockin' On Heaven's Door (I originally was gonna take out Mama Kin or Human Beings, but I like those two so much more than Knockin even though Knockin' is a staple). Strange Broue
ˇ your setlist would have been worked in 2005 if the AFD 5 would reunite
