I can't believe it but for the Nightwish fans out there they are gonna do another US tour. That's twice in a year they will come to Chicago. They will play here in April again----too cool!!!!!

Nightwish has been around for many years now, way before Evanescence, they always played power metal, they never tried to be something else than themselves, even when they had not much people coming to their concerts and were totally unknown, they are indeniably original and I had never heard a female opera singer singing for a metal band before hearing them, and that was years ago, when only european power metal bands fans were listening to them. They never followed any trend, they were out there way before, playing the same music, and not caring much about the sales. If they became successful it's because of the big music companies using them when they all of a sudden became "trendy".

That hardly describes a band of posers imo.

And their songs rock so who cares.

What's the problem with female singers anyway, can't they sing in a metal band.
