Crue will never make something as great as Puppets or Ride The Lightning. As for Megadeth, they are good and Dave had a great influence on the eighties Metallica albums but no Megadeth album is as good as MOP or RTL.

Dude, I never said that. I said that Crue were better than post-BA metallica. Puppets is one of the greatest metal songs ever written. I will not argue that. I love it.

As for Megadeth, they pwn metallica. Peace Sells, Killing is My Business, System Has Failed, Hanger 18...shall I go on? They are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Metallica. I'm sorry, but I respect Dave Mustaine's song writing waaaaaaaay more tahn Hetfield/Hammet's. Metallica's music has changed with time in a verry bad way. St. Anger sucked. On the other hand, System was one of Mustaines finer works. Blackmail The Universe and Die Dead Enough are two of megadeths alltime best songs, right up there with Hook In Mouth. Dave hasshown clearly that he rocks harder than ever, and still owns the metal world.

I think it's better than MOP, but thats about it as far as metal songs better than puppets. MOP is probably the second best metal song ever (again, behind Peace Sells), but other tahn that, MOP owns all.

on every mettalica album theres a couple of shit hot songs and then the rest which are mediocre at best yet you still get people going on that the albums are genious.

The Crue never made any appology about being a simple good time rock n roll group, they weren't out to reinvent the wheel, just play good music that you could dance and get laid too.

oh no the crue hasn't inspired a generation of "Goths" to go out wear hoodies and not wash, goths is in invertes as they aren't goths they just claim to be, ask them to name a mission album or the lead singer from any of the old bands its always funny when they dont know any.

The crue pissed off a lot of bands and slated a shitload more but least they never tried to fob Saint Anger off on the general public.

They weren't about being deep,sad,frustrated or angry...they were about fun and wrote songs about it. Take it for what it is and not for what it's not. Motley's music is to celebrate and party to and to have fun. I remember when I was younger we had parties in highschool or in College later on...it was so fun to listen to Motley and party with girls and make out to those songs. You can't listen to Metallica if you wanna party or have fun and drink and be with girls. Metallica is for different occasions..doesn"t mean it's bad it's just different. people should stop bashing for no reason. I love Metallica and Motley. When I'm alone or in my car I like to listen to Metallica. But when I used to party and go out with girls in College and have pool parties then it was cool to listen Motley. I hate it when people say Motley lyrics are not serious and only sing about partying...well DUHH...that was the point of it, to not be serious and just sing about good times and do party anthems. I could say the same thing for Metallica...they only wrote about depression and anger and never about anyhting uplifting..but that's what they wanted to do and it's ok, just like Motley wanted to do the opposite.
