OK I like Jet but I think the immatate too much. Their song "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" sound like "My Generation" by The Who. And "Look What You've Done" sounds like "Let It Be" by The Beatles.

it annoys me that they copied the bassline for Are you gonna be my girl, and they try to sound like AC/DC, but the singer is shit, so it doesnt work.

Not because they are bad, but because they are close to the biggest new band on the planet, yet have no more talent than to warrant them playing outside of the melbourne wastelands they came from.

I respect what they do as a good down to earth nitty gritty rock band who plays the occasional pub gig, but these guys have no right to be where they are today - headlining festivals, playing in front of the thousands and thousands of people who will one day be embarassed to say they got hot and dirty for Jet when the loose and grose fad becomes as unfashionable as it ever was cool.

Jet are completely rubbish live, and they go around thinking they are gods.

Ive seen them twice and theres a lot better out there....

Im gonna say tey are original, despite the similarites with AC/DC. Its really hard for rock bands to make songs which sound 100% original, because most riffs have been used already
