"Simon Collins of the West Australian reports that Perth-raised former AC/DC singer Bon Scott is to be inducted into the WA Music Industry Association's Hall of Fame — nearly 25 years to the day after he was found dead in a car in London.

Scott still inspires fervor among fans headbanging along to "TNT", "Let There Be Rock" and "It's A Long Way To The Top". The induction will take place next Tuesday, but fans will pay tribute to Scott at a special graveside service in Freemantle Cemetery on Saturday, the anniversary of his death.

Among them will be Doug Thorncroft, who, not happy just with the induction, wants a redeveloped Perth Entertainment Centre to be an ongoing tribute to the hard rock singer. "I'd like the Entertainment Centre to be renamed Bon Scott Pavilion and out the front of it (erect) a life-sized bronze statue of Bon in his famous pose, microphone in hand, hair flying back and legs spread, giving it all to the crowd," the 39-year-old father of six from Quinns Rocks said.

One of Scott's old groups, the Coastal Scottish Pipes Band, will perform at the ceremony. The same night, local AC/DC covers band Riff Raff will lead a memorial concert at the Leopold Hotel."

Hope this was not allready posted.
