IzzySixx
2 guitarists because i think 1 guitarist can sound weak live.plus i'mn a rythm player myself and i don't rythm players get enough respect for what they do in a band.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>The Who and Queen are far from being weak bands live.like i said before the rythym can becarried by the bassist easy enough.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>i disagree there is more to a rythm guitar

It fit slashes style perfectly but izzy stradlin also has a different style than most "normal" rythm guitarists

MadSlashSeason
I like 2 I like when the two guitar players intertwine their parts like GNR and Aerosmith. I dont like 1 guitar player bands live during solos. That was the only thing that bugged me about alice in chains, only 1 guitar player, I think tow would have sounded great, especially live

Teroz
I like bands with two guitarist... The playing stays tight even during a solo - And two guitarists usually mean more attitude and interesting music...BUT there are some great 1 guitarist groups: Led Zeppelin, The Who etc.edit: Iron Maiden have 3 guitarists now-a-days (for almost 5 years now) Edited July 3, 2005 by Teroz
